Would it also be possible to use this hybrid core to make a mild hybrid system with a 7 speed AT that uses your logic, the shiftlogic automatic transmissions? Because I looked at the code for the hybrid citybus, and it uses an E-CVT, which is the same as the capsule and other hybrid mods, but the Voith NXT is a 7 speed AT with a mild hybrid option, so it has real gears rather than variable ones, and the E-CVT can't do real gears, if that makes sense

What you are describing is a parallel hybrid. The combustion engine (and its transmission) is connected in parallel with the electric motor. However I don't think BeamNG support multiple inputs. The current powertrain models are either one in one out or one in multiple out.

The E-CVT mod does all the calculation internally and BeamNG regards the E-CVT as a "magic" black box gearbox with one input and one output that spontaneously causes energy to disappear or appear.

For parallel hybird, you can either make internal calculation like the E-CVT but with parallel physics, or use another "air pump" on the T-series but make the power "sink" work both ways, i.e. custom programming of the pump as a makeshift motor-generator, or use the retarder logic but program the controller mechanic to "bi-directional" (and add energy counter as the battery)
