Seems like damaged glass texture is different on beater h-series first pic. Either im blind or damaged glass texture is really higher quality
i am not sure its its because of these last 4-5 major updates landing a thursday or friday or if its just cause of the chances he is saying based on maybe past trends but not current? i couldn't really see this being useful either as if the devs did do that type of setup of monday-wednesday then the rest for bug fixing it wouldn't really make sense to me. now if you released it and let it sit for a couple days (over the weekend) that sounds a little more logical cause then everybody can have their bugs in for them to look at the following week. would be kinda harsh to release a update and the first thing you do afterwards is fix bugs fix bugs fix bugs without a little break in between... but thats just my opinion. but i still wouldn't look a this and say oh thats valid evidence of what day it will come out for me i normally just look at all past history from the start of beamng's release to today. and see what days are the most common for updates to drop.. even though that can change on a dime i still like to use them to see. but honestly i can't remember the last time i have ever seen a major update land on a monday tuesday or wednesday for the last 2-3 years...
Bro, this is a speculation thread, not a facts thread. He is speculating his own release date based on past trends, which is showing the release dates of December releases.
We don't know how it adds up, like you can't have 100 % chance of having A and 80 % chance of not having A, so if 100% doesn't mean you sure it will come out, we don't know what it means. Plus, we don't know what data he picked. First updates of the game where more small and frequent, so we can't really consider it. It can give an idea, but I'm sorry I just can't get something of these numbers This version was much better --- Post updated ---
Remember that many games that are on Steam get usually big content updates during the Steam Summer and Winter sales since it’s the biggest two sales of the year and has a greater chance of more new purchases
Actually, I assigned the following numbers to each day: 1=monday, 2=tuesday, etc. Then found the average. Then median to double check, it all came out as 'WHS' as the three most common days - (all time, December updates). Then I did the day of the month, which pointed straight to the upcoming week. Basically, I did what you said. Go back a few pages and you can see all the updates I made. I found it useable, it's a projection. In reality, yes. That's how I came up with my Wednesday theory, combining the stats with reality. I gave it 90% chance because the December update data had around a 40ish% chance of next week, even though that's unlikely. In any case, go back a while and you can read my data, which updates I used, etc.
let's be real guys, TDev doesn't have some ultimate goal to release it on one particular day, they'll just keep working on bugfixes until it's ready. they may have planned to release it a week ago and come across a huge swarm of bugs.
