    No, it's not walking, it's cool but we don't have a body with legs, we're a rolling ball with a cylinder on top. imagine having a customizable avatar, a robot with hydraulics and stuff, simplified but something that look good and walk instead of hanging in air like the dummy for "walking" mode.

    hydros?
    simulate all of the muscles and bones in human legs, then write a hideously complex LUA controller to actually operate all of the muscles realistically?
    and at that point, we're still supporting the weight of the character on the sphere, do you suggest we try to make the leg controllers able to balance the player, even when people have potato PCs that run the game at 12fps, (and can only make calculations a little faster than 12 per second)?

    Idk, beam team made shifters move, tpms valves so, some legs wwon't be so hard for them (just kidding)
    no seriously, @Agent_Y made a lego car mod that has a dummy inside, that touches the shifter and wave arms like crazy when you crashed, do the answer is maybe this guy

    A human would be way more complex than a dummy, due to a more flexible body and more joints. Maybe the devs can pull it off but not me. I never managed to create a realistic walking thing after all.

    I mean, Bernd did make functional legs back in 2018(although they aren't that realistic)

    Yeah and what, it's a 2008 game, beamng is technically from 2015, with new pbr and possible rtx, rockstar games can't beat THE beamng team. And we got some really good "modders" (idk if this word exist), some who create impressive maps (@Spencer Johnson ), some who create weird but useful mods to edit beamng (@Agent_Y), other who create high quality props (exemple: @Steelorse), even stuff like coupe miramar! (@Nacho Problem )
