About the program

The Community Translation Program is back!

This program is designed to allow volunteer members of the community to participate in translating BeamNG.drive into their own languages, to bring the game to a wider audience. We will have a small team of volunteers who are mentoring translated languages, and you will be able to apply to be one of them.

While anyone can contribute to the translations - all you need to do is register and follow the instructions - mentors will have the authority to curate their own languages.

If selected, not only will you get access to Discord channels where you can chat with the BeamNG team and other mentors, but also a free copy of the game, and of course mega bragging rights! You will be able to say that you were a part of the process of bringing BeamNG.drive to your own community.

Participation Requirements - Mentors

Mandatory requirements to apply:

  • Your account must not be in violation of the Terms of Service and rules
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be willing and able to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
  • You must speak the language you wish to translate at a native level

Perks

We want our volunteers to know that we appreciate their hard work, so here are some of the perks that come with the role:

  • You will receive a special Discord role that allows access to channels restricted to other members and members of the BeamNG team, to make communication easier
  • You’ll get a free copy of the game for you or a friend
  • You’ll get massive bragging rights for your contribution to bringing BeamNG to your community!
