The preset you're using might change the UI FPS limiter from the default 30 FPS, could you try resetting this in the profile editor?
no i put it to 60, its a complete freeze if i open anything in options but only sometimes meh idrc this mod is awesome, better than cks --- Post updated --- i think its realoding part of the map somehow
why does it make my game so laggy? I used ultra preset, when i change in world editor skybox i get from 90 fps drop to 10 fps, without this mod i dont have any fps drops. EDIT: when i turn light on, game is unplayable SPEC rtx 2080 ti i9-11900f settings on ultra
I randomly found your mod and downloaded it. This was the first graphics mod i downloaded and i added in the vehicles folder. Now i cant play beamng because of your new updates popping up in the main menu without having any way to close it. I tried to remove it but sadly its not being found anywhere in the beamng folder. How to fix this?
got the same problem, for me, it only happened when opening the "option" tab, it turned out it was caused by not-matched settings, like Grass Density(Ground cover density in Graphic Unit). set them to the same value fix the delate for me.
Try restarting the game after installing the mod. Beam needs to start with the mod already installed to register the bindings in 0.34.
The "View in Explorer" button only appears for Custom presets. External presets have a "View Mod" button when installed correctly and Included presets won't ever have one.
how do i add custom preset that i downloaded the tutorial said that i need to press view in eplorer button on the vanilla preset and drag the file there
This isn't how to install external presets anymore. I already contacted TEON about this, since the tutorial was made quite a while ago. Drop the files into this folder inside your userfolder, where you also installed the mod to.
This is super cool! I especially like the color adjustments. While I find the desaturated look of BeamNG kind of charming in its own way, I enjoy having some brighter colors as well. Unfortunately, my PC can't really take advantage of the higher quality settings, but I'm glad folks with beefier setups can enjoy them! I'm super grateful for the separate DLAA mod! I understand the utility of having access to all of these detailed settings, but like I said my PC can't really take advantage of many of them. Having the DLAA by itself makes a big difference in quality without having to sort through all the additional settings. Is there any chance of getting a separate color adjustment mod? Or maybe I should just use the Vanilla preset in this mod and then adjust the colors to my liking? I'm asking because I've found custom graphics settings with Beam itself that work well for my PC, and I'm not sure if using the Vanilla preset would override those... Thanks!
This is exactly what you should do. The vanilla preset has every feature of the mod completely disabled by default. Although, if you're only after color correction improvements, I recommend this tonemapper instead. Or you could combine that with this mod, which works completely fine.
in your DLAA mod you said that with rendercomponents dlaa doesnt work, but i cant see a setting for anti-aliasing in profile editing
