Good God you all remind me of my grandfather's Lada 2109 samara. He was also treating that thing like a shit, driving with a ripped belt, not even adding oil for thousands of kilometers, yet that thing still managed to go pass 500k Kms mark. Now it's sold and being driven by a relatively young adult in the countryside:D

I now feel like a lightweight with a 177k mile car. I recently redid a lot of the injection system and looked over the top end, which legitimately looks perfect.

The M30 is very robust engine if you maintain it at all. I do occasionally rev it out, but very rarely beyond 5500. Not that it makes any power above that, despite revving to 6700.

You have a better sense of speed in real life, so I would say it's easier.

Weak, my car had at least 1 million kms on the clock and i would have been at 15th or 16th owner, then one day i opened the door and it fell off, thank god i never once actually drove the bleeding thing, the engine would have ripped it apart on the first full throttle application

M30s are a tank of engines, I always loved how torque-y they are and have great sound. Nothing beats an m50 though:p

My first (the green one) and second official cars, I have had a Mini Cooper at age 13 before, and also a Opel Manta and a Alfasud at age 17 :)
By the time of these pictures the new owner of my 315 had already put seat covers and floor mats into it but of course it was a full beige interior :)

I'm renewing my heavy vehicles permit, a coarse that spans several days. The last decade the regulations in my country (and the rest of Europe) have gotten quite strict. I own every letter of the EU drivers license except for the letter 'D' for buses. If I would get that one too it means I could immediately hook it up with a trailer. Today during course a professional coach/touring car (travel buses) driver explained that it is quite, actually really difficult to parallel park a short trailer (like bus trailers) with a long bus. I immediately thought I should try this out, in BeamNG of course :D It seems the man was more then right. A good first attempt (below) but I gave myself a lot of room. If I would move the trucks a little closer together things might get pretty exhaustive :p

I can imagine how horrible it is to reverse a small trailer with bus. It was difficult enough reversing a small-ish mid-axle trailer with a small-ish offroad truck in the tests.

Oh you mean the mid axle being like a dolly ? When I did my initial course we were obliged to manoeuvre every possible combo during the final test (back in early 2001). One of the 'obstacles' was backing it up 50 meters with the wheels closer then a few cm's from a white line on the tarmac. I was kind of lucky due to the fact that heavy transport 'came with my genes' (for several generations) :) nevertheless surprisingly my other team mates all succeeded as well without ever having driven those 'loose' axles before ! Nice chaps they were :)
