CPU: i7 3770k (3.4 ghz) GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT640 (?) RAM: 12gb DDR3 ram It's one of these pre-builds....(Click Me)
I'm expecting the day my laptop just nopes out and dies is soon, but every day that it doesn't is a miracle. It's been dropped from ~120cm (4 feet for the imperially inclined), stood on, had its case opened more times I can count, had Sprite spilled on it, and been carried all over Europe and Asia on my back. To say that I'm attached to this laptop is an understatement. To say that I'm clumsy is also an understatement. 2010 HP Compaq CQ62 i3 350m, swapped out for an i5 540m. 2+4GB RAM No dedicated GPU (lmfao) 140GB 5400rpm HDD etc etc I should get a desktop.
Mine's in my signature, but I might as well post: Case: NZXT Phantom (White & Red) W/ Side window PSU: Corsair CX600 (It's a little bit rubbish with only 480W on the 12v rail) Cooling: Stock NZXT fans all around - on the H100I liquid cooler I have two Corsair SP120 RAM: 8GB of G.Skill RipjawsX @ 1600 (capable of 2133) Mobo: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z CPU: AMD FX-8350@4.6 GHZ (1.42v-1.45v) GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 670 FTW edition SSD: OCZ Vector 256GB HDD: WD 2TB Green@ 5400RPM
My PC is CRAP BUT Still can run intel core i5 games CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.20GHZ GPU:Nvidia geforce 7300GS 1GB DDR3 RAM:Kingston 2Gb ram HDD:Kingston 700GB CASE:Unknow
naah case is unknow i don't knwo what its called its spelled like colorait or something so its unknow and its old my dad brought me in 2002

Firstly, HDDs are less reliable than SSDs and, if you really use your hard drive a lot, you will know that it wears out. Secondly, you pretty much need an SSD to play a HD/HQ modded GTA 4 (even if you mod just the cars) at even Medium settings, because there is so much content a HDD can't load it fast enough. Tough I genuinely think it's the fault of the engine, not using batch rendering and using up heaps of RAM, VRAM and HDD.
It's mostly the engine, it's terribly optimized for PC. Like for example it says I have run out of VRAM when it's only using 700mb of my 2gb card, and also how it can't handle mods for crap 90% of the time.
Intel i7 core 2.2Ghz with turbo boost to 3.2Ghz Nvidia Geforce GT 640M with 2GB dedicated Vram 8GB DDr3 Memory 1TB HDD Yeah just got this baby haha
Started as a stock Acer Aspire X1300, which I eventually re-cased and put some other goodies in. InWin BUC-101 case Micro ATX motherboard (foggy on what exact brand, it's whatever mobo came stock with the Acer) AMD Phenom X4 9650 2.3 GHz processor 4gb RAM ATI Radeon 5850 GPU Thermaltake TR2 RX 550W PSU Haier flatscreen TV for second screen (can also hook consoles up to it ) There's still some stuff to do. Having done some shopping around, I'm loving the Asus P8Z77-V motherboard, Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition (3.33GHz), and Kingston 8gb RAM (2x 4gb). Maybe I'll upgrade the GPU once again at some point, but this stuff needs to be done first I think.
GOOD NEWS I have recently bought a powerful OEM PC that should run BeamNg no problem!! HP ENVY 700-047c Specs: CPU: Intel i5 3470 @ 3.2 GHz MEMORY: 12GB DDR3 GPU: Radeon HD 8570 2GB GDDR5 @ 730MHz HDD: 2 TB PSU: 460 Watts (MAX) BeamNg should be a piece of cake for this machine! *NOTE Sorry for screwed up fonts, idk what i did
Should be good enough I think HP ENVY 700-047c Specs: CPU: Intel i5 3470 @ 3.2 GHz MEMORY: 12GB DDR3 GPU: Radeon HD 8570 2GB GDDR5 @ 730MHz HDD: 2 TB PSU: 460 Watts (MAX) BeamNg should be a piece of cake for this machine!
