    1. The 717hp motor is a 375cui
    2. the Viper would need bigger engines to not compete with challenger. this would be the more likely trim lineup-

    Base- 392 485hp
    GT- 426 585hp
    R/T- 375 717hp
    SRThellsnake- 426 959hp

    3. the alfa and maserati would need to be more different

    Duesenberg Model L (2025)

in june 2023, Elon Musk tweeted:
"To celebrate the roaring 20's, I've been reading "The Great Gatsby" by F Scott Fitzgerald. I like the idea of making a luxury car like jay's duesenberg."
    2 months later, he tweeted:
"Remember how I was talking about 20's luxury cars? SpaceX recently bought out AvCo, which holds the rights to duesenberg and cord! maybe we can work something out!"
The new duesenberg brand, now a luxury subsidiary of tesla, with the model L sedan and Model O luxury SUV were unveiled in mid 2025, with the model L based on the model S 2.0 platfrom, and the model L on the model E (production version of the cybertruck) platform.

That's awesome! MrAnnoyingDude did a Duesenberg post as well (which doesn't line up to this).

    Wouldn't it compete with tesla?

it'd be aimed wayy higher than tesla., a much nicer interior, an overall larger car, etc.
tesla's current interior quality is about a 3 at best on the "90's GM to rolls-royce" scale. the current expense of them is mostly in the drivetrain.

    Ford Condor (1972-1977):

Following the success of the Capri, in late 1972 Ford of Europe decided to apply the idea of a sporty alternative to their 4-door cars by making the Condor - a sports sedan that offered a fancier and more expensive alternative to the Cortina/Taunus TC, and was often described as a "poor man's 5-Series".

The Ford's styling somewhat resembled the Leyland P76, but was more stubby (264.6 cm WB, 441 cm long). The front end resembled the 1970 Ford LTD, including the optional hideaway headlights, while the rear was similar to the Chrysler 180. It rode on the same basic chassis design as the Cortina, Taunus TC and Capri; the 1.6 I4 was shared between British and German models, but the rest of the engine palette was different: a 2.0 I4 and a 3.0 V6 in the UK, 2.0, 2.3, 2.6 and 2.8 V6s in Germany.

While the car was not a huge seller on the level of the Cortina/Taunus, the Condor was still rather successful thanks to its practical 4-door body style, with around a million units sold before the new generation came in 1977.

    2003-2006 Chevrolet Bel Air
It is an American 2 door personal luxury convertible based on the 2002 Chevrolet Bel Air concept and the 2002-2005 Ford Thunderbird. Its design was inspired by the 1954-1957 Bel Air. It uses a Vortec 3500 Straight 5 engine. It is front engine and rear wheel drive. It had a 4 speed automatic. It competed against the Ford Thunderbird. Like the Thunderbird, it was a failure. Only 20,000 were sold by 2006, when it was discontinued.

    1970-1977 Simca Corcel
It is a Brazilian car built by Simca do Brasil. Simca do Brasil was a subsidiary of Simca until 1966, when it was bought by Chrysler. In 1967, Willys-Overland was bought by Chrysler. The Corcel was originally being developed by Willys-Overland, but when Chrysler bought it, Simca inherited the project. It used a 1.3 liter engine from the Renault 12. It used a 4 speed manual. It was front engined and front wheel drive. It was available as a 2 door coupe, 4 door sedan, and 3 door station wagon.
