Extreme bump, I know, but I kinda wanted to actually make a good mention of a car instead of scrolling through a website and cherry-picking. That would be the 2nd gen Nissan Leaf in the 2019 action film Stuber. I personally enjoy the film (although I know it's not really for everyone's taste), but I actually found the idea of tying in this car into the story interesting. Often with action films, it's usually a sporty vehicle like a Impreza STI, a muscle car like a Dodge Charger, or a hefty vehicle like a Tahoe or Ram. It's kind of a rare sight to see a electric vehicle, let alone a more civilian-like vehicle. I also find it a good implementation in the story, with it being used both as a convenience (lends itself to the joke "Silent but deadly") and a hindrance (when the car dies at the end of the movie after not being charged for a while). So yeah, I don't mind action movies (or other movies) that star shitboxes or more average-joe kind of vehicles. Nothing against the norm with "starring vehicles", but I would prefer some more diversity with vehicle choice from my perspective.
