World Editor - Not possible to add 'Player Spawn Sphere'

Hello

I wanted to create a new Time Trial, but I have an issue when trying to add Spawn Point (Player Spawn Sphere).
When I click the button to add it (see screenshot1), cursor I see is like this (screenshot2), after I click to place it, nothing happens.

Wasn't the issue in old editor. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

 

Is there going to be a fix for this soon or it will come with the next update?

Until then I guess there is no way to create time trials, right?

 

You can duplicate (shift and drag) and rename an existing spawn sphere, or create a new one i the old editor.

 

Almost a year later and I'm having the same issue, you'd think beamng would have the world editor alittle more consistent by now. Hopefully they'll find a fix soon. I'm working on some maps and most are on hold really.
