Working Tank?

Just wondering if anyone out there has been thinking of making or is in the process of making an actual tank for the game?

It's something a few people have wanted and I think it will add something new and fun into the game.

It brings back memories of the old Ripsaw from Rigs Of Rods.

 

The BTR mod is the closest you can get.

 

Yeah I know about that, but it is a rather old mod by now. But I and others are looking for some form of tracked tank.

There was actually an old proof of concept tracked vehicle/tank.

It's old, doesn't have a model and probably doesn't work anymore, but it proves it can be done.

Edit: Just got on my computer and surprisingly, it does actually work. Not well though, and it doesn't turn, but it works nonetheless. I was wrong about there being no model, there's a super basic one

Might have a go at getting this to work better. Haven't done much jbeam work at all so this should be interesting.
