Wierd Numbers (Gridmap, Small, Pure)

I was just looking for a map to play and I somehow selected gridmap pure. I was still searching for a map when I noticed that numbers were flashing on the image. Down below there are pictures of those numbers.

I was just wondering what that meant. I got the numbers 723.

Does everyone get 723?

Is that some kind of secret or something?

I'm just really curious to know if anyone out there knows about this.

I assume these images were used as "test" images when the multiple previews per map support was added to the level selector. So yeah, don't look for any hidden secret messages or anything , I guess that they didn't serve any other purpose other than checking that hey, the image succesfully changed! while the devs worked on these improvements on the level selector.

Why are they still in the game? No idea.

 

Okay thanks! I was just wondering what they were doing in the game, that makes a lot of sense. Also, the 1 really looks like a 7 to me

 

Its rotated too far around to be a 7, its a 1 drawn in paint and missing the lower serif.
