@tdev, I just want to say I thank you for being generous enough to tell us about what's going on development wise. It really allows us to look in and see things from the dev's perspectives. Here's an update I'm hoping to hear. I'd like to know where the Bluebuck and the Wendover will fit in with the future schedule? I will guess sometime after Career Mode, judging by tdev's posts. There's been so many updates about what's coming up next, like the Autobello and Italy coming in at around Christmas time. Now I have my fingers crossed to hear about the other two cars I'm anticipating after the Autobello.
i believe he means the steam store game / review rating https://beamng.com/threads/thanks-for-the-awesome-reviews.59554/ also, hey Tdev, i don't know if you'd ever be interested in doing this but showing us a few of the problems plaguing development (see below) maybe every two-or-three weeks would be both interesting as a way to "peek behind the curtain", so to speak, and maybe even simmer down the littlun's need for constant updates as well, or at least hopefully explain to them why that is a reality we simply can't have. (the below): i don't know why but just seeing behind the curtain at what's happening in the dev-world like this is quite entertaining to me
yeah i know we get frequent blog posts and updates to the Micro-Blogs section, i was just saying that the little sprinkles of problems here and there are fun to see once in a while though now that i think about it i think i've just described the micro-blogs oh dear
I know, I must sound like some kind of broken record by this point. I've been anticipating it for quite some time. It's a 60's American sedan, and it will probably count as a muscle car. Old muscle cars are cool.
Oh nice. What do you think about this question? Personally, I really don't mind the delays and I find the updates are fun, even if that fun lasts for a short amount of time, but I mean I'm no "expert" at BeamNG. Whats your opinion?
if it's based on the Chevrolet Impala like its name implies, it should have performance based configurations. Muscle cars are performance vehicles. It will probably be a similar situation to the Barstow.
There were sedan Impala SSs. I'm sure the bluebuck will have an sport option with the 423 and heavy duty suspension.
Yes, but 4-doors existed of other years, and the Bluebuck is only partially based off of the impala anyway. Now, this is getting a bit off topic, let's stop.
Hey, now that it's December, we could talk about the year that we are leaving behind us and remembering some of the milestones the game has achieved through 2018. Anyone wanna start it off?
They did have sport sedans, though I don't think they had a 63 model year. True. I think the Dodge 880 is another basis for it.
Honestly I'm just happy that these devs are not lifeless puppets for some publisher. The fact that a game like beamng has made it so far and still continues to push out content without having to resort to scummy business practices should be something to rejoice over not worry about. You also need to remember that the quality of content being produced for beamng now is miles ahead of what it used to be back when there where more frequent updates, before you even know it you'll have a fully fledged career mode with hours upon hours of content for you to enjoy and you won't have to bugger the devs anymore.
