5-lug Skidplates
With the issues preventing the skidplates from being mounted on the '88 pessima resolved, a new and interesting dimension of skidplate racing has opened up. Further varying the size and type of skidplate cars could pave the way for interesting scenarios/career mode options, and it would take only the addition of this single part to make the Legran, '96 Pessima, Sunburst, and possibly even the ETK I-series potential contenders.


Concial 'Moon' Discs
A popular option for a surprisingly wide cross-section of automotive enthusiasm. You'll find them affixed to everything from old-fashioned hot rods to hypermiling hybrids. Either way, aerodynamics are key - and they just plain look cool!


Modernized Muscle-car Wheels
A fresh take on the Alder Powr-Push or Magnum wheels would bring the brand into the 21st century, as well as providing some resto-modding options for the older cars and interesting choices for the late-model Japanese and European cars. It couldn't hurt to prepare for a modern American either.

Beauty Rings for Steel Wheels
Found on the edges of both old and new steel wheels, these chrome rings add a subdued splash of shine. Potentially could be available by themselves as a standalone hubcap, or as a sub-part of other, more centre-focused hubcaps.

 

I knew i wasnt insane (at least not in this case) This dissapeared the same day they came right? GripAll Baja? Wonder why? I really hope they come back..

 

I heard from @synsol that they won’t be coming back ever. Which is very strange to me. I want to know why because they were never buggy at all.

 

I think that it was a copyright issue.

 

Then rename it?

 

The design itself was likely affected by copyright.

 

3* things i would love to see:

1) Fix the tire menu tree when customizing a car by rim size. It sucks trying to find certain size rims sometimes.

2) If a tire fits a certain size rim(lets say a 15x8 for simplicity sake), any tire that fits on that same size rim, should fit on another rim of the same size..(for instance, there is no option for a tire that is on the base steel wheel on a "branded" wheel. What sense does that make?

3) Tractor(or skid steer) tires for the 14/15" rims(currently use an outdated mod for 15' derby tires, but there are no options for the 14" rim as far as i know)


*This one is a Jbeam issue, so i'm not sure entirely it applies here... make the tires less susceptible to grabbing onto things(i tend to derby ingame a lot, and bumpers/sheet metal from other cars "glue" themselves to tires.

 

I would love to see mag wheels like this in Beam, which would look good on some hot rod cars:

 

I’d love to see more width options, for example 12” Alder Magnums. I’d also appreciate tire tread options, rather than simply just grooved or flat.

 

Not to mention, I would also love an alternative style of classic steel wheels, such as these:

 

I thought of these as either custom wheels or wheels from ETK or Hirochi.


This style would look badass on a Barstow.

Why there's nobody talking about modern bigger steel wheels and hubcaps?

 

I'll second that.


A set of Modern 5-spoke Steel Wheels would help pave the way for more modern American cars, and in the meantime, will look quite nice on the BCPD Grand Marshal.

 

Wendover wheel suggestion

 

I've been thinking that it's strange that there are no three-spoke wheels in the game, considering all of the 80's-90's-early 2000's cars.

 

Since vehicles get reworked, let me drop some of this

Why not something like this for fun and offroading?

• Really crap on concrete and asphalt as it is basically a full metal wheel but the agressive profile would make it nice on soft or wet ground.

I'm all for having weird stuff to take advantage of the unique physics simulation and customization freedom in BeamNG, but those would certainly be some unique options. Definetly want to see some less useful wheel options to play around with though.

Kind of OT: I would love to see some tubbed chassis with appropriate drag slicks, it would make some of the drag cars look more appropriate. Just take a jbeam sawzall to the trunk

And I still hope to someday see the other stuff I've suggested. Goldline tires, drag slicks with the timing markings, etc... Goldlines are just a recolor of the redlines already in game, and the drag slicks would just need a little white patch on them.
