Well, if they have not done it already, don't you think it would be complicated? EDIT @ below: My argument is still valid, slidenodes are more complicated, you must die. not rly
I'd love to see a lot of things feature-wise, but as far as in-game content, I'd love to see an '02-'09 Chevy Trailblazer, including off-road, "EXT", "SS", POV, and marked police versions. (imported from here) (imported from here)
Thanks for all your responses keep them coming and maybe one day I will recommend a few and maybe get them in game.
Smashable buildings with realistic collision (bricks smashing etc.) It's probably impossible, for any PC to handle I mean
2 things that I want more than anything that should be very possible. (Since they were in ror) 1/ when respawning with new check point be facing the same direction as when before you respawned. (Not the default north) 2/ set check points without re spawning. Like in rigs of rods
I may be demonstrating my ignorance again, but the only thing that I _really_ want right now is proper controller support. It'd be really great if there was a "controls" menu that we could use to setup our binds. I (and I presume many others) would really appreciate some decent force feedback. I bet a slide-node steering rack would make calculating force feedback values a billion times easier. What if there were "standard" parts in the future repository? Things like steering racks or chassis that are already optimized to produce certain behavior e.g. force feedback, chassis rigidity.
I would like to see Fluids in the game, Petrol and diesel, Engine coolants and that sort of thing. A nice hard rear ending (Hur Dur) could cause the fuel in the tank to ignite causing a fire. Would also like to see tow ropes introduced for when the off roading doesn't go as planned!
Renember red faction guerilla? U can flatten an entire map of buildings and even a supermassive brige .. it ran on a ps3 supersolid 60fps no matter how many bits and bullets where around
1. I would like, somehow, for there to be a way to make explosions to blow apart the cars. 2. I would also like if there could be an option for there to be a driver in the car, and that he could be thrown out, gibbed, etc.
I would like to see an program that can automatically build a jbeam around your 3D object, it would have to be close to a basic shape, not the whole car at once but something like a hood for example, it would be able to calculate where to place the nods on the object based on internal presets: such as "car hood" you choose from a drop down list "car hood" and it'll search it's database on the relative shape of car hoods and output a jbeam mapping your 3D car hood as close as possible along with common material such as metal, if it is a car windshield it will search its database on windshield shap and materials and do the Same using glass materials etc. . ;-)
