What to do when bored?

I'm terrible at console. What are the best commands can a noob like me use?

as for boredom..I used to use my logitech wheel for rally with a sunburst but it was almost harder than Richard Burns rally in some aspects and the FFB for me is not that great.

 

Beam's console does not take commands like a CLI does. It is a scripting environment. If you know Lua at all, you can have a lot of fun with powertrain code. Getting started with it is not particularly hard.

Make funny configs like a rally sbr4 with vanilla parts

 

get 2 jato buses, get a random car between other 2 buses (normal ones), and then get both of the jato buses to get the random car in the middle destroyed

I browse fanatical bundles. Already picked up 7 games for $10. I will 100% play all of them at least 20 hrs each
Actually yeah I need to listen to more podcasts, they give me life when I'm grinding

 

I tend to do 3 hours around Le Mans in a Formula A (Formula 1) car in Project Cars 2, so 440 miles in 3 hours I love pushing myself to the limit generally 3 hours 30 minutes is my limit, I am trying for 6 hours

 

I've got to wonder how many people at valve switched over to crowbar for that one game. lmao gg

 

I recommend drive more IRL

 

I mean it went out of beta now and they revamped all the earthbound levels

 

Sorry I didn't mean to sound passive aggressive, I think its super cool how it's a fan game that lives up to the hype of theoretical HL3. Funny how they're called crowbar too

 

We're all driven by all sorts of interests, both in-game and off-game. So I'd share some things that I do.

In Beam.NG:
Tracktime; different racecars, different setups, different tracks.
Rallying in cars well-suited and ill-suited for the terrain.
Experiment with driving styles and manouverability tactics.
Teaching my better half to drive cars (or rather, learn basic driving).

Off Beam.NG:
Fail horribly well in Dirt Rally 2.0.
Play GTA Online and collect money to fulfill my carguy dreams of owning all the cars that I like.
Play games on emulators (ePSXe and PCSX2).
Watch random YouTube videos.
Not letting the existential dread set it.

Post on the forum here or on that one GTplanet forum where a really cool guy is making a really cool mod to add bugfixes and other visual stuff to Gran Turismo 2.

Hopefully this gives you some sort of guidance.

 

I wonder if they stopped the GT40 from being so OP in that game, the AI would run circles around you

 

The mod is called "Gran Turismo 2 plus" by Pez2k. Google it and have a look at it yourself.
