    It's not really a plane :p it's a vehicle with wings and thrusters :D

So do you have actual flight? or is the boost keeping you in the air? as this game is about being realistic it would be nice if it glides as well but It still looks awesome and that Bolide doesn't look out of place strangely

I would think that it is just boost, considering that he has to use an upwards thrust to get into the air, but then again, IT'S AN AIRMOBILE! This is probably not "realistic" compared to real life, but it is pretty damn cool IMO. The devs said that there is some form of aerodynamics, but I wouldn't think that it would be programmed already to have something fly aerodynamically.

I also have to agree with the Bolide fitting for something like this.:)

It was just a screenshot in the Developmental Screens thread. It's awesome XD
But Drowsy... o mai gawd. This is legendary. I can't wait for the release.. I'm gonna be on BeamNG for hours. It would be nice if it weren't totally controlled by thrusters though. If the wings actually served a purpose. But that's for the devs to figure out not you :p

According to both the devs and mythbuster, they should work.

I personally do not care whether the wings work or not. If this thing can fly, I won't care if it's made of dead people and the souls of my enemies, I want it.

    Nice work DrowsySam!

Having said that. Directional control can be done with control surfaces (like in real planes).

Also main propulsion can be done with propellers or "rotators" ;-) .

Thank you everyone for you interest and compliments! ;)

And yes it works like a real plane, with aerodynamics and all that, except for the flaps and rudders, which I could probably replace with moving parts like a real plane in the future.
It's pretty cool though, I never knew Beam could do such things until Mythbuster told me it was possible.

Quite realistic as well, if you damage your wings, it WILL effect your flying and stability.

EDIT: Another cool thing, if you go fast enough and pitch like mad, the wings flex from all the strain, how awesome is that?
