*sigh* thats shit, was expecting 160hp tbh, knowing hyundia's diesels they take a tune quite well, like their i800 goes from 130hp to 200hp! its a 2.5CRDI Here is my favourite v6 engine... Isuzu D-Max V6 Renault Espace... Saab 9-5 (Gearbox in Sport Mode, hence rough shifts) Signum, really smooth shifts.. oohhhh this shouldn't be a diesel but it is... Anyway back on topic... Least reliable car was well a Maserati Quattroporte, gearbox was a pile of crap and italian electronics do not work well when they are that complicated, the gearbox was an awkward shifting SCT (single clutch transmission, a manu-matic)

Seriously? Almost every diesel car has had torque as a preference to power. Ie: A 2005 KIA Sorento gets up to 60 in 14 seconds, and can pull a continent behind it. + An IC125 has 2250 HP yet it can pull a galaxy+universe behind it and still reach 125.
you can have torque and power, that Isuzu lump has 400NM (not as high as other 3.0twin turbos but its good for FWD applications)
Oh that's not that bad, just a shame it is not a wide torque band, as it has low horsepower especially for a 2.9 V6 Diesel,i suppose it hasn't got a Variable Geometry turbo on it so thats why it is not as wide power band
1995 Chevrolet K2500 Silverado; 6.5L Turbo Diesel (replaced twice), 4L80E auto (rebuilt once, already nuked again). Has 250,000 miles, original engine cracked heads, replaced with a rebuild; new engine went through 5 PMDs, two ignition switches, a turbo wastegate, and a partridge in a pear tree. Trans is complete garbage, I don't care what the die-hard Chevy guys say, it's shit. The damn thing is currently parked in a field behind the house. Maybe waiting for a turbo 454 big-block and a manual trans swap, we'll see.
Oh, I don't know how I got so many things wrong, that amount of horsepower and torque is not bad for 2.5crdi. Odd that it's a 6cyl tho, usually they are 4cyl at 2.5L

2011 Nissan Titan. I often drive it whenever my car is needed by my parents for something, and it's had problems ever since we've bought it. Quick glance into Carfax showed that it spent most of it's time up North and it slightly fell victim to the road salt, and parts of the truck's bed had some surface rust, but that was fixed once we bought it. Steering was off center, along with some alignment issues, but that was sorted out once we got home, and some other minor things along with a replacement second key. Then about a few weeks in is where the real problems started developing, first that happened was the radiator had sprung a leak, and just one night of it being parked, it lost all of it's cooling, so that had to get replaced. Then about another week later, the transmission fluid hose burst while out on a job with dad, and left us stranded for several hours. That got fixed eventually, then recently, a slow leak developed somewhere in the power steering system that requires it to be topped up, kind of infrequently. Then about a couple weeks ago, the skidplate that comes factory with the truck fell off, and we found out that whoever had owned this truck before had cable tied it back on, and the cable ties just now failed, along with a piece of the heat shielding for the exhaust system. Then, now dad's telling me that there must be a hole somewhere in the exhaust system since the truck's sounding alot louder than before, So.... The truck's due for an oil change soon, so I wonder how that will go.
Is there anything good about the Nissan Titan, because I thought it was a truck that exist and that was the only good and bad thing about it.
These Titans are fairly reliable, IF, maintained properly, they aren't anything weak when it comes to doing work and all that, and despite the problems we have, and that transmission hose, engine hasn't missed a beat, and it still drives straight and true.
So by the sounds of that it's a below average pickup because ever pickup I know are really reliable without maintaining it, unless you live in a area where they use road salt but that's the same for every car.
Apart from the issues, it isn't "below average". I mean, gas mileage isn't that great, but it's a 5.6L V8, and there's not much else expect really from something like this.
12 city / 17 highway for the 08 Crew Cab and 14 city / 18 highway for the Silverado Crew Cab from the same year and I'm in shock.
And? Every truck has it's ups and downs. I don't see what's the issue with it. So the Silverado gets "slightly better" MPG, but that alone shouldn't constitute saying "Oh, the Nissan Titan's shit because it gets worse fuel mileage." No, that's just retarded. Far as what my initial post states, that particular Titan just had issues, I mean, it's not like if we went to go buy another Titan locally in where I live, and it'll have the same exact issues.
You don't have to say 'oh, the Titan is worse', you just say the Nissan Titan and everyone gets what mood is set
