I love the little Covet. It is a beast of a car when driven properly, able to annihilate practically everything around the Industrial Site race track or rallycross course. Let me give you an example of how crazy-fast the Covet is: At the Rallycross Sprint track, the base Covet DX - just the base Covet DX - achieved a 53.125-second lap time, which is faster than cars like the SBR4 TTS2 (54.234) and the 1988 Pessima Rally (54.718), while only a second down on the Sunburst Race. These are cars with 350-450 horsepower, all-wheel-drive, and supposedly "better" handling. At the Industrial Racetrack Perimeter, the Covet Race set a 46.031 lap time - 2.5 seconds quicker than the Sunburst Race (48.547), and only beaten by the obscenely-powerful Gavril Barstow Drag (45.125). Of course, these two tracks are tiny and twisty; at something like Hirochi Raceway Long, the Covet would most likely be destroyed by quite a few other vehicles. However, as a short-course demon, the Covet can't be beat, especially at the price. On-topic: I personally don't have a car which I completely forget, but I'd have to say that the 800 Series is a car which I don't really think about using. It's a decent car, no doubt - even the 854t isn't too bad of a vehicle - and it is nice that we have a regular wagon in this game, but considering that there are lots of faster and more fun vehicles in the game for lots less money (*cough* Covet, D-Series *cough*), the 800 Series doesn't really have much purpose for me. I don't hate it, as it looks quite good and can be an acceptable sporty vehicle. It also can be quite strong and a rather formidable demolition-derby vehicle with its added weight.
This is one of the biggest reasons I don't like to drive both the modern ETKs. Wheels are torn off more frequently than woth other cars and often something breaks in suspension leaving the wheel to hang
I do! --- Post updated --- I wish the GM had stuff the other Gavrils have, like the 4.1l i6 and 6 speed auto
The Burnside special is the most forgotten of them all. Its so forgotten that hardly anybody listed it as one of the forgotten vehicles.
I love the burnside, I use it a lot. Sure I can think of a lot of configs I think it should have but doesn't (It does not exactly have an abundance of configs and it is missing a lot of things I think it deserves, but that currently is true for many cars in game). Nonetheless, it is still a fun car to just drive around, or have some fun with the Barstow engine swap.
hard to say... when driving with a wheel most of the cars are fun in their own way. the ones i use the least are probably the pigeon and the van. these are pretty much only fun for crashing and not driving.
I use it all the time. It's got the steering wheel on the correct side of the car --- Post updated --- I'd say moonhawk for me. I don't touch it
see. i prefer cars which have large pieces that easily come off like the pessimas and all the other economy crap. my most used is the new pessima as i think it is fun to drive and it looks hideous. my least used is the bolide as it has nothing too special and like most supercars it has a reinforced frame and does not crash too bad
i'm gonna expand more, the entire ETK series since i HATE BMW and Mercedes-Benz, new pessima, the Roamer, civetta, GM, SBR4, Sunburst mostly and mostly the 200bx. i only care about the ones i didn't mention
I know but I just don't really like how it handles. I like the car but I usually forget about it because it doesn't handle as well as some of the other vehicles in the game.
I don't get why people don't use the Burnside. It's a tank and you can give it a drag engine. What else could you want?
