    Here.
I think I was wrong earlier when I said there won’t be new cars in the next update. But we might get a new car in mid 2026.

They didn’t specify what sort of car it would be. Just wondering, what made you think it would be a 2000s German luxury sedan if they never specified?

I think you might have some misunderstandings due to my poor expression. I don't mean the new car in mid-2026 would be a 2000s German luxury sedan. What I want to say is that if the BeamNG Fandom wiki was right about that in the game file, there is an unused 5.8L V12 engine, then I'd like to see a 2000s German luxury sedan that uses a 5.8L V12 engine. Why? Well, I searched both on Bing and Google about the 5.8L V12 engine. The famous answer for the 5.8L V12 engine is the M137 engine, which was used for the 1997–2002 S 600 (W220).

My disires have been pretty much the same since when I started playing in 0.35.
Mainly some australia (Like a holden inspired car) or england representation and more 1950s cars as the burnside is looking a bit lonely.

I hope the devs will plow through bringing refreshes to the rest of the outdated cars, though this update, though they updated almost every car. The spr4 had a very light refresh with pbr materials and completely new remodelled lights. The wendover also had updated lights, and the FCV. The Wentward has been slowly refreshed, 0.36 gave it usable controls, this updated gives it all new pbr textures (though I wish they made the seats dirty again. Very few cars left to update, mainly just the hopper.

Now on the topic of new vehicles, there are still some brands with only one car, Cherrier and Burnside I think (Wentward has two models, the schoolbus and the normal bus.)

I hope they add some “filler cars” like rebadges and other average vehicles. Like a Soliad legran, or a burnside version of the Bluebuck.

    Sorry for the long read.

Tacho uses angular. I can see them using sdf for a new tacho like the new minimap as its even faster than Vue I believe. I really wouldn't mind a tacho refresh either way as it'd be nice to have it look buttery smooth rather than kinda jittery and unresponsive

Realistically, having filler stuff like this serves no purpose other than to bloat the vanilla game and add nothing for the general player. This is best left to mods I think and its why we have such a vibrant and niche repo

How about making the Mod Manager sorting stay however it was last sorted? I like to sort mine by Name but I have to change it every time I go into the game.

    A few ideas

    1. With time trials/drag racing to show what vehicle did what time, not just a list of times

    2. Ability to save the level state as is without having to do it through world editor. For instance if you have setup a truck with alot of trailers connected be able to save the truck and all its trailers as a config you can load through vehicle selector on other maps.

    3. Ground deformation

    4. Destructable enviroment, trees, road signs, buildings etc.

I understand some of these arent possible but thought just put them out there anyway.

Game is great as is and will only get better, thanks devs

We got spike strips. It’s only logical that police can setup spike strips when they do roadblocks during pursuits
