Its full of assorted hardware of all my 350 twin stuff. going to organize all of it in the little drawers thing (I forgor the name)
Changed the right side mirror on my e39 because the previous owner broke it. I also recently replaced the radiator, viscous fan, thermostat and a few hoses because the cooling system like every bmw was shit.
Okay so it ran but the electrical died as soon as I turned it off. Alternator issue? Probably not but I don't have any good ideas.
Everything works in accessory and then it'll start sometimes. If it almost starts and doesn't catch that battery loses all of its charge or something and accessory doesn't work. Once its recharged it's fine but it might happen again. Once it's shut off it loses all power again.
its been a minute but uh i slammed the wagon 2004 volkswagen passat, 2.8l 30v v6, 5 speed, 186,000 miles
Wired the subwoofer into my E39 with my dad. Really happy that i now finally can listen to music again
Unless it has been severely overworked, over charged and/or drained, that battery should be fine. Case in point, my cars old battery, which is nearing ten years old, still works very well, even in 0 degree mornings we are currently having. I still use that one every now and then (to keep it charged) despite the fact i had bought a new battery when i bought the car. Re reading what you have said reminds me of the ground issues from the Torana, it would have power to all the electrics but sometimes when moving from the "Run" to the "Start" position it would lose all power as the starter relay makes contact (the big click noise). Jiggling the ground cable at the battery terminal would solve that issue. Replace those cables, clean all the grounds, then start worrying about more expensive things
Just replaced the cables so I don't know. I'll look at the grounds again just to be safe. Wow! That is awesome. My friend has some kind of '60s/'70s Honda motorcycle collecting dust in his shed. I'll have to ask him about that
Got engine repaired after it suddenly broke down, bc 2.2 jtdm is not really reliable (bye bye 16k euros) Alfa romeo stelvio Veloce Ti --- Post updated --- Also put maxton kit
Installed a custom dial for my speedo. Background lighting isn't perfect and the needles now look funny, but I'm still satisfied with the result.
finally have some time to start working on my 300c again. she blew both head gaskets so im installing new heads, deleting mds, long tubes and no cats. once she runs then im installing my new fender. today i removed the front bumper, & got the inner fender liner ready to come out. then removed yhe exhaust manifold bolts and the 02 sensors, them drained the coolant. tomorrow ips when i remove the wiring harness ect up top and get the heads off --- Post updated --- i also learned my 30pc has anlot of junkyard parts, the cat converters have been replaced before, and that my exhaust manifold leak wasn't a manifold leak the manifold just wasn't bolted to the down pipe all the way.
Ladies and Gentlemen a second e39 has hit my Wallet! Picked it up on saturday and registered it today i havent seen a e39 that is as good as this one except the ones BMW themselves have
