So the scooby may be gone. But it has been replaced. Test drove this on saturday, chucked deposit down, now mine today.

I declare it a good choice purely on having a stock fitment boost gauge (god knows if the reading is accurate, most factory ones arent).

A while ago I bought a non running 1994 Buick Regal. 1 owner, 85,000 miles. I charged the battery this morning and it started right up. Not sure when it last ran, but it was last registered in 2014. It needs brakes, tires, 2 front door handles, and possibly a few other things

Today I vacuumed and washed the Jeep. Thing still runs very strong. Transmission is shot, though. It likes to hunt for 2nd then slip into 3rd. Typical Chrysler TorqueFlite derivative problem, very common. Shift kits are available to lower the pressure in the valve body so the transmission doesn't completely destroy itself just by being used.

Oh well, now it smells like dollar store brand glass cleaner rather than old cigarettes and musk.

I haven't done it yet, but I plan to get some cleaner and try to remove the surface rust from my brake rotors because it looks terrible.

This thing, lowered on TSW Sebrings, would look insanely good.

    Nice car!

Cool. I'm not sure if it applies to that year, but you should check the coolant tubes coming out of the water pump. The ones on mine cracked and leaked coolant because they are made of plastic. There are aluminium replacement parts for about $15 and the repair is relatively straight forward. It looks like you found a good car, I wish you luck.

Don't think they'd match with the red honestly. But yeah I've been enjoying it. Nice to know it's a car where there's definitely nothing falling apart. Does much better than the Subaru for fuel. I feel it's a little more comfortable. Power delivery is smoother and there's more of it. Definitely quicker from everything except the standing start.

I drove my car today, and somehow ended a trip with a confirmed 46 miles per gallon (the car is rated at 39).

Took my 2019 GMC Canyon in for its first service at 5k MI. Proceed to discover a check engine light linking to a MAF sensor (thanks autozone)... TBC on Monday.

Ordered a replacement Transmission Oil cooler for my 318ci late last week, Finally arrived. I will be installing it when my dad comes home from work.

It's all done now, Ended up with a big mess on the garage floor, ATF fluid built up slightly in the back of the oil cooler so it spilled all over. The hoses were a bit of a pain to remove, also the O rings that came with it were a bit too big (glad dad had the correct ones).

The original part has been in there since just after 9-11.

Launched a bit too hard off the lights "gently accelerating" against a turbo SW20. Diff decided it was time to join the great scrapheap in the sky, so I had to tow the car to the workshop with my tail between my legs. Spent the next couple of days hunting for a replacement diff and ended up installing a much stronger NB8A 4.1 along with the uprated propshaft, halfshafts, and knuckles.

The diff is the last component of the original NA powertrain to go, and was by far the weakest link, so I'm not expecting anything big to break in the foreseeable future... Knock on wood.
