Things changed since i last postet here. So i got my daily (VW Jetta Mk2 1,3l) ready for summer. All i did so far were the black rear lights, black indicators in front and a sub. Oh and well the Ronal Turbo´s. Nothing special. And my Bug, got it "ready" just puttet on new season plates (april to october)
Got brake checked on the motorway, rear ended the dude in front at like 60kmh/37mph. The one time I'm not driving like a dickhead is when my car is rendered immobile and is expected to be written off. Haven't towed the car home yet, but I did peek under the bonnet and note that the radiator is touching the motor.
So that's both of us wrecked in a 2 week period due to others. Do what I did, join the dark side and get a crx
See, this is why I always leave big following distances. Staying 5ft off someones bumper isn't gonna help you get to the red light any faster.
They put those to VW these days? I would not be against of such in my moped, but low air pressure does the trick too, soo squishyyy OT: I took intake off, plugged EGR and eyeballed that intake port is roughly 2/3 of diameter from intake runner diameter and carb is around 1/2 what intake runner is, so me thinks there is need for a dremel, those big steps probably are quite bad for performance and fuel economy. I'm actually not sure if intake runner is correct English term, it is just pipe between head and carb, there is only one cylinder so technically it is individual runner intake Probably will order bigger carb too, just to get tiny bit more torque.
This is why I always leave a 2 inch following distance. If they slam on the brakes I just gently bump them
It shall ride eternal, sliding on a touge. The battle with errant air in my Subaru Impreza's power steering system continues, and now my AC compressor belt adjustment bolt broke at its support base, which for some godforsaken reason was made of plastic. Now I know why my mechanic (family friend) thinks this car is cursed, as soon as you try and work on anything something else breaks. Subaru engineers also really love 10 and 12 mm bolts...
