Thank you, I'll check this out asap. UPDATE: This was indeed broken, I will upload a hotfix addressing most of the issues soon.
DaddelZeit updated Wentward Pack with a new update entry: Hotfix Read the rest of this update entry...
Actually, the DT60L is already the right length, since most buses with that configuration are 18 m long. Although, the DT65 could get a DT75 brother, since most of the 4 axle articulated buses that I know are 23 meters long. Overall, about the mod, the buses could get some longer versions. In Brazil for example: *The DT40L is a little bit short for a low entry, 2 axle bus. With its 12 meters of length, it is 1.2 meter shorter than our standards for this configuration. *The DT45L is too short for a 3 axle bus in our standards. With its 13.7 meters, it has the right length for a two axle bus, not three. Our 3 axle buses are, usually, around 15 meters long (around 50 feet), so a DT50L would be more fitting. *The DT60L is perfect sized. 18 meters long is exactly what we get here, nothing to add. *The DT65L is a lot shorter than it "should be". Our buses with that configuration are mostly 23 meters long, instead of its 20 meters. So, it should be a DT75L instead of DT65L. Apart from that, the mod works great, being only limited by the fact that all sizes are separated vehicles, instead of being variations of the DT40L, which requires that any powertrain related mod have to be converted to work with them. Anyways, good mod. I wish we had longer bus lines to justify playing more with buses, especially those long ones.
The way I started making this mod is, I did the DT45L as being a fairly unrealistic experiment to check how different a 3 axle bus would handle. Closest irl counterpartsto it would be New Flyer D45S and some neoplan 3 axle citybus, which in reality is quite different, due to in-game bus being only partial low floor design wanted to turn it into the full low floor bus with 3 sets of doors (one in the rear overhang), however, I really didn't want to invest so much time into modeling a completely different rear end for the bus. For every other bus I just followed the New Flyer's Low floor bus series, since it's the closest match to the base game one (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Flyer_Low_Floor)
I understand. After I posted, I remembered that you'd base it on US standards, that are considerably smaller than around here (well, if you consider that in US, the maximum GCWR of a vehicle is 80k pounds, while here it is over 160k), so it makes sense for buses like the DT45 and the DT65 feel "small" for brazilian stardards. I hope someday I'll be competent enough to model a new body for the bus and use your frames to make a more modern "brazilian spec" bus lol Edit: Now I see why the lengths are different. Our Buses have longer overhangs, although( the wheelbases probably are quite similar. This is a MB O 500 U Frame, equivalent to the DT40L's frame and, with a body on top of it, it can reach up to 13.2 meters of length: With such long overhangs, our frames are capable to have wide doors both in front of the Front Axle and behind the rear axle. Cool fact: This is the MB O 500 UDA, our version of the DT65L: With a body, this monstrosity can reach up to 23 meters, its GVWR is over 81,500 pounds (37 tons) and it can fit 157 people inside, and it isn't the longest thing we can have here (but it is the longest rear engine bus), since our longest buses can reach up to 30 meters in length and a GVWR of almost 100,000 pounds (around 99,870 lbs or 45.3 tons).
The mod itself is amazing, but after spawning the articulated bus (both DT60L and the DT65L) the game starts to be extra laggy, the bus barely moves and the camera is frozen most of the time. Never had this issue before - could it be a mod causing this? Help is appreciated.
The pointie sign on the back of the DT65L is inside of the cabin which looks pretty weird. If possible please fix it.
i5-6400 3.15 GHz, 1050Ti On Small Grid with DT40L my game runs at 160 fps (cpu 80%, gpu 99%) With DT45L about 140 fps (cpu 80%, gpu 99%) With DT60L or 65L on average 40-50 fps (cpu 50-60%, gpu 30-40%) with sudden speedups to 80 fps and drops below 20 fps
I wanted to make a Skin fro the Wentward DT60L, i have everthing setup but i need the uv map of the bus that i can't find anywhere. Can someone help me out? Bye the way this is my setup!

The steering of the Vetter articulated bus is in the center axle!^^ --- Post updated --- I hope the story about this bus is interesting!^^ After Mercedes-Benz presented its O 305 G in 1978, Vetter built an articulated bus with a single-axle front end. The advantage of this construction was that no complex technology was required for articulation angle control, the second axle was mechanically forced steering. Vetter built ten vehicles, five of which went to HSB Heidelberg and five to SW Münster (cars 380-384). While the HSB had its vehicles converted into normal articulated buses, the SVM wagons went back to the manufacturer in 1980 without ever being used in passenger transport. Vetter later converted four of these vehicles into normal articulated buses. This is the only bus that has remained in its original condition and has been running in school traffic for years without any problems! One more note; In October 1980, Stadtwerke Münster again received Vetter articulated buses, which were also given the car numbers 380-384, although these were new vehicles! --- Post updated --- I hope the story about this bus is interesting!^^ After Mercedes-Benz presented its O 305 G in 1978, Vetter built an articulated bus with a single-axle front end. AMD Ryzen 5 2400G processor with Radeon Vega Graphics, 3.60GHz, 8GB of RAM, a 64-bit operating system with the x64-based processor and a VGA ATI Radeon RX 590 graphic card. If you have any ideas why and how this happens please let me know privately. Thanks a bunch.
uhhhhh.... interesting, gonna see if i can fix it clientside but was wondering who else got this with the new update?
