I was just wondering...would it be possible to remove the barriers on WCA? I was thinking maybe instead they could loop back around or something like that. The tunnel and freeways could just loop back onto themselves Does this even need those barriers? It doesn’t even look like there’s a road there. Just a construction site sign and the props would do. These roads could just have a dead end or cul-de-sac. They could possibly connect to all the roads on the edge of the city and they would be connected with one street that runs parallel to all the roadblocks.
Exactly. But what Flippi is suggesting is preferrable by a long shot. --- Post updated --- Also, there are roads leaving the ETK Driver Experience center, Hirochi Raceway, and Utah that fall within the same category as the WCA roadblocks.
Exactly. The best connection I can suggest is connecting all of the city roadblocks with one crossroad.
If we are already on this topic, I would like to bring up an idea a great member had a couple of years ago. When coming to a road end on one map, you could automatically change to another map. This might not be the perfect solution to this problem for some, but I personally think that it would remove the need for barriers, and give the maps more continuity, thus creating a much better experience.
Well that would be nice, but sometimes people might accidentally get too close so it might be a little annoying.
What about a looproad? Or whatever it's called, something like the M25 surrounding London, except nothing like the M25, but still circling the city of Belasco. I'm also incredibly annoyed by the fact that Belasco appears to just be only skyscrapers and roads. There's no realistic size to it.
What they mean, likely, is one sort of super highway that goes around the city, that all the smaller roads could connect to to eliminate the issue of dead ends, much like the M25 in London or the Circumferential here in Halifax --- Post updated --- Also, a lot of those areas are WIP and the barriers in the city will be gone when that area gets finished, I'm pretty sure...
Well, they would all lead to exits and entrances of the super highway, meaning that by going any direction on any of the roads, the player could always enter the super highway without having to turn around
Could you provide a sketch on the WCA map of what you mean? I'm still a bit confused as to the layout of it.
The black square is Belasco City, the grey would be the dead end roads, the blue is the super highway
