Too many ideas will make the wait for the update even longer. (Not complaining that it's taking long, it's understandable for such a huge mod)
I would suggest "YOU" to wait until I think 2 to 3 yrs till it breaks. Till then write them in a notepad(kindly don't take it seriously lol).
that’d be quite a few updates I doubt it’d take until 2023/24 to experience a severe issue with this mod due to one of the updates redux didn’t even take one year to break
Sad news today. WBIMP is being officially cancelled as an "all encompassing" mod, and the developers who made certain content upon request will gain the rights back to them; so whatever does end up getting released will be by them separately. A majority of the content is by me and LJ and we do have some future plans for some of it, so stay tuned I suppose. Life comes first however and its been getting more and more convoluted on my end, and I frankly don't have any desire or time to maintain this large of a mod any longer. That's about it- its a bit unceremonious but I don't really mind, its been a good 2 years and i don't want to keep you folk waiting for something that wont be coming. I'll reiterate for those who are bound to skim this: Not all content is being canned, its being shelved for a later date and separate mods most likely. Have a good night guys
Just remember: You boys are saved in the history of Beamng modding. We all had so much fun playing this mod. Thank you guys for making this mod and I wish you good luck in further projects
i mean probably yeah but being the fact a lot of new members dont even know about DPMP my hopes arent the highest lmfao
No. I can't understand how he could have been any more clear on this. It is dead. Making a big Modpack just isn't viable anymore for many and upkeepong several different mods at the same time just doesn't work. The content is still there but the Name is dead and will forever be
just some speculation, I'm not a modder but I guess it is because of how much the game and how everything has changed. i could understand that that is a lot more work today than that it would be 2 years ago, sad to hear though.. --- Post updated --- sad times
We loved this mod, and are sad to see it go, but we wish you luck for the future, and hope you stay healthy and well.
