WIP Beta released Volvo 240

cant believe its finally out!! been following this thread since 2019 & cant be happier that its been released. thank you for your hard work on this mod!

 

It is a great mod, but it still needs a lot of work, and I hope you continue on improving it.

car only shows as wheels for me, clearing cash to see if it does anything
edit: did nothing, trying to disable all mods but volvo 240

Mod is broken

 

Maybe try crtl+R it gives the car a hard reset and that did the trick for me.

i own one, they are mostly 5 cylinders, mine is a 1st gen 1974 euro spec with solid indicator design

The 5 cylinder didn´t even exist until 1991, when it came out with the 850.
They can be swapped in though using a shortened sump from the B3604/B6254 (Volvo 960 straight six).
So that´s factually incorrect that they are "mostly 5 cylinder"
Would love to see a pictures of the engine though.

Well IIRC there existed one I5 in the 200 series, the D20 Diesel.

 

True, forgot about that rare one sold in countries where engines bigger than 2 litre were taxed more.
I know Finland got some, but they were never sold in Sweden. We only got the D24 as a diesel alternative.
