Just want to say that I'm currently working on an update for this quite dated mod. I'd like to refresh some bad textures aswell as rework the new sounds, adding nitros oxigen etc.
It's all .dds textures now if it helps, when you mentioned textures (well, except the license plate graphics, if you have one, IIRC I think those might still be PNG, devs would know better). When you finish, if you strip the name and logos off it, (VW, scirocco etc), you can put it on the Mod Repository where everyone will see it, or just call it the 'SkyRock'... This was a neat car glad to see you taking time to keep it alive.
If you need help with the engine sound looping properly (I think this is the one where it doesn't loop 100% perfect), let me know, zip file and send in a PM as I work with audio here for a good 20+ years now and then some. Can generally get a good loop for you if there's enough to loop. No clicks/pops. Can fix a whole song and make it not skip (vynil recordings, fun!), no issue, so a small sound sample should be pretty easy.
Hopefully the planned update makes the rear window easier to destroy.. it seems to be a little too strong (rear ended by a T-series at 40mph and rar window is still intact)
Once it gets a horn I may or may not (definitely will) set it as my default vehicle. Gotta have a horn yo!
I've actually taken the liberty of recording audio samples of my Scirocco and integrated them into the mod. It's probably not the best but I have the audio samples if you want them. This includes the starter and different engine rpms.
