Still some problems with the file paths. Open the .mis in a text editor and check where it's loading the resources from. Ground materials seem to load from Gridmap too. The material under the road shows up as warning_material, probably because it's not in default Gridmap?

I fixed some of the problems and got it mostly working. Feels familiar, though it's been a while since I played NFS. I watched some video of the track, looks like it should be much longer and have an extra lane on the road. The original is mostly 100-200 km/h speeds, in this I can rarely go over 100.

Loving the idea of this, my first NFS was NFS 2 se, I bought it with pocket money and it was the first game I bought myself for my own pc that I built.

It always churns me a little when I hear people say they wish NFS would go back to its roots then talk about underground and carbon, when the maps and cars from NFS, NFS2se and NFS3 were in my opinion great for arcade sim racing and they are the honest roots of the NFS franchise.

Great work chap, really dropped a nostalgia bomb on me

I have a CD-ROM copy of NFSSE but I can't get the thing to work at all probably because I'm a total idiot with DOSBox. I should really build myself a shit PC with Windows 95.

Would love to use this map, but I'm just getting error messages and then it loads nothing but water.

Mind sharing the files for the working version? Been trying for an hour, and I'm tired...

3DO was an amazing machine for it's day and the father of the NFS franchise, bought the machine just for that game. PS1 port graphically sucked, much to my complete disbelief.

    Thanks for making this track!

O have not grown up in the time of NFS1, but I have it on DOSBox. This is an excellent map. City next.

Here is a fix for anyone needing it... just replace the original .mis file

(extracting the file is a step please remember this...)
