I can see where you are coming from, I mean they had 5 models; the covet, the 1st and 2nd pessima's, 200BX and the hopper. But maybe, just maybe Ibishu had a down fall in the very late 90s and closed their doors in the early 2000s(just a possibility).

In BeamNG we need a small, and possibly more modern bus. Something with a total length of more or less 10 meters, a diesel engine of more or less 5 liters and more or less 160HP. The Wentward is too big to use comfortably on Bus routes (especially on the map of Italy, in my opinion) and I think it would be a good complement.

An Asian company having a slight drop in the mid-to-late 90s was natural, because it was at that time that the Asian stock market bubble burst. That's why most of the Japanese sports cars stopped being exported to the US (mostly) and that's also why many Japanese cars were significantly decontented from the crazy technologies their previous generations had (the '94 Celica, the last Corolla Levin, the S14 and S15 Silvias and, of course, the '96 Pessima)!

Hirochi would’ve been the ones struggling in the ‘90s. They’re presumably a jack-of-all-trades company with an automotive division- think Mitsubishi. Hirochi makes pianos, after all. (Yamaha inspiration?)
I could see Hirochi doing R&D for other companies (like what Yamaha did for Ford with the SHO), but I don’t really think that ‘90s Hirochis would’ve been huge sellers (relative to Ibishu).

Ibishu would’ve probably been affected by the financial issues in Japan, but I’d imagine that the Pessima and Covet would still be huge volume sellers- Think Civic/Corolla and Camry/Accord. The sheer amount of Pessimas/Covets sold would’ve probably ensured their survival into the 2000s

@fivedollarlamp (I forgot to quote your comment and I find it difficult to do it while editing my comment, so I'll do it this way)

I agree with your opinion. I believe it's Hirochi that might have experienced a decline in the 90s because, as a company, it seems like its main clientele are car enthusiasts, with normal people (as shown by the Sunburst, which only has one humdrum version, the 1.8 Base, and the CVT gearbox is only available on that single version) accounting for the minority of their sales balance sheets. And, for better or worse, as we all know, car enthusiasts are always a minority amongst people who have a contact with cars, in one way or another.
Ibishu, on the other hand, may have many cars (which, at first glance, increase development costs) but each one is different than the other and also, like the Hirochi models, each one has a version available literally for anyone, with any driving taste!

1993 - 2001 Ibishu Intruder (Based off the 1998 Acura/Honda Integra and the 1999 Nissan Lucino coupes)

    "Drive in the fast lane"

This is it, one of the most desirable and stolen cars to ever come out of the land of the rising sun. The Intruder is a car that 90's teenagers dreamed about and 2000s kids drove in video games all of the time. However, just like Baby Boomers with their rusted out Moonhawks and Barstows, you'll be incredibly lucky to find a Intruder for sale in relativity okay condition that isn't being charged for three times it's actually value for nostalgia's sake by the new Gen X Boomers.

    Variants:

The Imprudent: The Imprudent is a Intruder LXi that's been modified by someone with very bad taste. Modifications include a tacky body kit, a gaudy rear wing, chrome Nomi Vanquish wheels, obscene custom decals, and a ride height so low that you'll rip the bumpers off at the mere thought of going over a pothole or speed bump.

DXi: The base model Intruder, equipped with a 140hp 1.8L DOHC I4 coupled to either a 4 speed automatic or 5 speed manual transmission.

LXi: A Intruder DXi with alloy wheels, a leather wrapped steering wheel, a leather wrapped shift knob, a small rear spoiler, and a limited slip diff.

Type Z: In order to make the top of the line intruder more "cool" and "hip", Ibishu decided to change the name of the ZXi trim level to the Type Z exclusively for the Intruder. The Intruder Type Z comes equipped with a 197hp high performance 1.8L DOHC coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission exclusively. Other features include a factory body kit, a Type Z spoiler, white Ibishu Type-ZS wheels, red bucket seats, 4 wheel disc brakes, sport suspension, a sport LSD, sport sway bars, a strut bar, a upgraded stereo system, and a guarantee that your ride would not be where you left it after owning it for a few weeks, unless you had a killswitch installed that is.

Street Tuned: With a widebody kit, a aftermarket spoiler, Clockwise RT6 wheels, a carbon fiber hood, racing bucket seats, a roll cage, racing suspension, racing brakes, racing sway bars, a racing LSD, Samurai decals, and a 300hp turbocharged 1.8L DOHC I4 coupled to a 6 speed racing manual transmission, this Intruder is ready to race like it's 2003 all over again!

Drag: After having it's 1.8L DOHC I4 bored up to 2.0L and being turbocharged up to 945hp, this heavily modded Intruder LXi is ready to turn it's front tires to dust as soon as you open up the throttle! Other modifications include racing suspension, a welded LSD, TIMS Egota wheels, drag racing slicks, a hood exit exhaust, a carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber trunk, a removed rear spoiler, a front splitter, front canards, a rear diffuser, and a custom paint job.

Exterior and Interior: (Based off the LXi model)

    Jackson Customs Replica Racer 2004 - 20XX
    "Wet yourself in style!"

Custom-made replicas of an insane car from the 60s - a lightweight British sportscar body mated to a mighty Gavril V8.
    Yeah, it'd be a Beamified Shelby/AC Cobra.

    Body types:
    Coupe
    Open Top (not convertible)

    Chassis:
Vintage (Old school frame, suspension, etc)
Modernised (Lighter, stiffer, better suspension setup, etc)

    Variants:
    Rustbucket (Rat Rod)
The OG (classic 60s street variant, coupe or open)
Vintage Racer (vintage open top, more powerful racing V8, old-fashioned tires, wheelspin for days, absolutely terrifying)
Sleek (Modernised coupe, modern small block V8, modernised LED lights, matte black paint, tinted windows)
Drag (Vintage open, huge modern supercharged engine, drag wheels and whatnot)
Race (Modern open, supercharged small block, rollcage instead of a simple hoop, racing slicks)
Oval (Similar to Race, but with different gear ratios etc)
Sacrilege ("A turbocharged Ibishu I6? Are you serious?!")

It's a good idea, but that post is kinda long and redundant if it's just gonna be a wikipedia article. Perhaps include some images and just link the wikipedia article if you want to do it that way?

Come to think of it, I'd really love some sort of "car from one brand but handling/engine/chassis is tuned by another brand" type of mod or vanilla car in the future!

I'm thinking and older SBR4 but the handling/engine/chassis is tuned by some sort of British brand.

1957 - 1962 Sovereign Bellezza (Based off the 1959 Imperial Crown and the 1960 Cadillac Eldorado)

    "Simply luxurious"

The Bellezza is the flagship car from Wamego's luxury division Sovereign. The Bellezza has all of the features necessary to let you know it's a car designed in the 1950s; massive tailfins, a nauseating amount of chrome, and a oversized V8 put under the football field sized hood in this 2 and a half ton land yacht.

    Variants:

The Bastardized: Time has not been kind to this Bellezza Custom, as have none of it's previous owners. Broken lights, rusted body panels, trim held on with duct tape, and a tendency to fall apart without warning are only some of the things you need to know about this car to conclude that it's nothing short of a screaming metal death trap.

Custom: The Custom is the base trim for the Bellezza, equipped with a 340hp 6.8L V8 coupled to a 3 speed automatic or manual transmission. Available as a coupe or soft top convertible.

Royale: The Bellezza Royale is equipped with a 370hp 7.2L V8 coupled to a 3 speed automatic or manual transmission. Other features include an optional two tone paint job + two tone interior, power mirrors, whitewall tires, fog lights, and a limited slip diff.

Sport: An experimental trim level of the Bellezza only available after 1960. The Bellezza Sport is available with a 390hp fuel injected 6.4L V8 coupled to a 4 speed automatic or manual transmission. Other features include front bucket seats, a center console with a automatic or manual shifter, a tachometer, sport sway bars, sport suspension, sport brakes, sport tires, and extra exterior chrome trim. Only available as a coupe due to body rigidity.

Street Tuned: With a modified 494hp 6.8L V8 coupled to a 5 speed racing manual transmission, this custom Bellezza Royale can leave tire tracks and clouds of smoke on the streets any time you'd like. Other modifications include hot rod pin-striping, Alder Powr-Push wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes, sport suspension, racing sway bars, bucket seats out of the Sport model, and a custom tachometer placed on top of the dashboard.

Lowrider: With custom graphics, hydraulic suspension, and gold exterior trim, this Bellezza Custom convertible is ready to hop to the beat of your favorite tunes!

Drag: Equipped with a supercharged 1400hp 6.8L V8 coupled to a 4 speed automatic drag racing transmission, heavy duty suspension, a locked rear diff, a heavy duty drive shaft, Alder Dragger wheels, drag racing slicks, a stripped interior, racing bucket seats, a roll cage, a custom racing gauge cluster, a custom front air dam, a cut cowl hood scoop, and a drag racing chute.

Exterior and Interior: (Based off the Royale automatic convertible model)
