Personally i really don“t see the purpose of the thread anymore because its just too big with too many posts and having absolutely no clarity whatsoever.

I guess this thread is just the "list trucks similar to the D-Series" thread now Edit: This is the first post on the 500th page... Nice
yea pretty much --- Post updated --- i am actually starting to run out of ideas and the only thing i can think is a pickup truck
Well, I guess I may as well get in on the fun. I keep saying that the game should be getting the most out of the official content, so... Here we go. The D-Series platform is currently used for the 1988-1994 pickup and the 1992-1999 SUV. We also know that the 1988 D-Series was a face lift. The most obvious additions to the platform then start with two face-lifts: Pre-1988 Model year D-Series: IRL the counterparts are the seventh gen F-Series, first gen Ram, and third gen C/K. Maybe even the later of the original Jeep gladiators. Slap a big boxy chrome covered front fascia on the D-Series, de-tune the engines, give the truck an older looking interior, badges, and mirrors, and call it a day. These trucks look really cool and it doesn't seem like it would be too much work, not counting figuring out the configs. Spoiler: Gallery Post 1994 D-Series: IRL counterparts are the 10th gen F-Series/first gen Superduty and second gen Ram. I don't think this one is nearly as interesting as the pre-1988 truck, but again it shouldn't be too difficult. Sawzall the back of the Roamer off, give it some new badges and a V10 (both the Superduty and Ram got V10 options, and we don't have any offical V10 engines atm) and call it a day. Boring but easy. Spoiler: Gallery SUV options: I don't think we need any more vehicles like the Roamer, but there are options so I may as well mention them. The Roamer comes in at 2300kg, which is laughable compared to the 3,487 kg 2000 Ford Excursion. If we were to get one of these for some weird reason, I definitely would want it to be based on the Excursion just for it's monumental size. The other options that fit here would just be smaller and/or older Roamers, so there isn't much reason to talk about those since we really do not need one. Spoiler: Gallery Other SUVs: Counterparts: Seventh gen Suburban, second gen K5 Blazer, Centurion Classic (Good alternative to the above truck), 1978 and up Bronco This is one that's high on my list of vehicles I would like to see. The differences in size of those counterpart vehicles is large because I just want to see an old boxy American SUV, regardless of size. These things are all awesome looking vehicles and some of those above were even used in racing. Besides, who doesn't want to drive one of these in white down the highways of WCUSA? Looking at the Centurion classic, it's already similar to what we already have in game. Just give it an interior. Spoiler: Gallery Spoiler: D-15 Off-Road Rant Why does this truck look so boring? Just look at some of the IRL counterparts, they look great. But we just get the gray brick.
Hi, would it possible for someone to create a trailer (from existing small box utility trailer) with gravel (reeeeeeally small rocks) or dirt. Thanks
Hey you! Have you ever wanted more supercars without Automation? I've been thinking about this for a long time, why do we have only one Civetta in the game? I know there's the SBR4 also, but that's a Hirochi, and it would be cool to see Italian, German and maybe even American supercars in the game. I've been thinking of some concepts: - Civetta C45 (inspired by the Ferrari F50, would include a base version, an Italian police config, a track version and maybe a street tuned? Like those supercars without rear bumpers that are incredibly fast in highways.) - Civetta C35 (inspired by the Ferrari F40, also would include configs like the F50 ^) - Civetta 706 Superfast (inspired by the Ferrari 812 Superfast, would include a concept sedan version, a police variant and a replica version on the 200BX frame, just for fun. ) Now onto a new brand I'd like to see in the game: Basilisk (based on Lamborghini) This brand would be curious, since they're based on Lamborghini but they also make sedans and street coupes, but with all the Lamborghini design. I thought of some cars for it also: - Basilisk Spectre Deluxe (inspired by the Land Rover Evoque, but this one would have more Lambo design traces on it, would look sportier, the base version would have a naturally aspirated 2.3L V6, a comfortable interior and medium height suspension; the Deluxe LX would be more for performance, lower to the ground, would have modifications for aerodynamics: a front lip, a small roof spoiler, etc; would pack a twin turbo 3.7L V8 under the hood, making around 470 hp from factory. It would have also a speed demon config, with a quad turbo 5.0L V12 mounted on the rear, rear seats removed, a rollcage, an intercooler on the back and a radiator on the front, making about 700-835 hp. It would also be very low for aerodynamics. Don't hit curbs! ) - Basilisk Demon SV (inspired by the Lamborghini Diablo SV, this would look pretty much like the Automation mod by Inn0centJok3r, but it would have the typical BeamNG collision models. Maybe it could also include a track version? I don't know. ) - Basilisk Eminence (inspired by the Lamborghini Estoque concept, it would feature a lot of configs, from civilian base models to track ready machines, maybe a drift config with adapted steering, and maybe even a beater. Who knows? )
It would certainly be possible, anything is possible, but this would actually be very difficult to implement. Beam isn't really on speaking terms with little tiny pieces. In fact, if you make nodes too light in a Jbeam, the physics completely freak out. This game isn't a particle simulator, so it's really not designed for this sort of thing. It would be far easier to make it look like you were hauling dirt or gravel, but it would just behave as a solid lump. Also, modding this game is not a trivial experience. if you want a mod, you are 9/10 times better off trying to do it yourself instead of asking for it and expecting it for free.
Civetta IS partially based on lambos. While I do conceed there is a lot more Ferrari influence, I can see some Countach lines and styling cues in the Bolide, especially the massive rear wing and wide stance. The Bolide is basically a fusion of the Ferrari 512, the F40, and the lambo Countach. By all means, if you would like to make these Basilisk vehicles as mods, please do so. You are better off making these yourself than expecting the devs to hand you what you want on a silver platter. Oh, and someone already made an F40 mod for the Bolide. It makes it look much more like an F40 and also gives it a twin turbo setup. IIRC, it was called the Bolide Corsa or Corse. there is a search bar if you would like to find it. It's a very high quality mod.
