DKW was an old German brand that famously used two stroke engines to power their vehicles. With the addition of the Autobello Piccolina I'd love to see a german classic next to the muscle cars and japanese classics we already have. The two stroke concept might also be a new and interesting challenge for mod creators or the BeamNG team along with the suspension relying on torsion bar springs.

    Basic Data:
    • 750ccm 3-Cylinder 2-Stroke Engine
    • 34 PS
    • 64 Nm
    • 4 Speed Synchronised Gearbox
    • FWD
    • Drum Brakes All Round
The car in the pictures above is my own, so if anyone is interested in taking this challenge I can provide you with all the technical data and detailed photos of everything. I'd love to be able to drive this great car in BeamNG drive.

Other Noteworthy DKW / Auto Union:

    • I was thinking about adding mixes similar to the Autobello Fiat+VW mix, and came up with some brand ideas:

    - Yet-unnamed Russian brand - Autobello's budget brand. Mix of mostly Lada and Skoda, but with some Dacia influences. Started out in the 60s making licensed Autobello sedans, bought out by the parent company in the late 90s amid financial troubles. Managed to rebound and even find a market in Western Europe.

    - Yugoslav brand (Favok?) - Autobello's value sporty brand, between the Russian one and Autobello proper. A mix of Fiat, Skoda and Seat. After Yugoslavia managed to rather peacefully transition to somewhat authoritarian capitalism, the state carmaker was bought by Autobello in the 90s, and established a reputation for itself.

    - Aurea - A premium brand of Autobello, mixing Auto Union/Audi and Lancia. Has a long history, extending to back before WWI, acquired by AB in 1969, and is now more relevant than Lancia (read: sells cars), but less than Audi.

    - Beta - A sporty brand of Autobello, mixing Alfa Romeo and Porsche, as well as Triumph and Tatra in older cars, including loose influences. Started out before WWII, then survived the 60s and 70s by building rear-engined Autobello Piccolina-license-influenced flat-4 and flat-6 cars. Went bankrupt in 1982 after rolling out a new front-engined model in 1980, bought by Autobello.

    • Another one would be a group of US carmakers, merged into a part-Mopar, part-AMC corporation. Started out with a few brands (basic+trucks (Plymouth+Dodge trucks+Rambler&successors+Studebaker), premium (Dodge+Nash&successors) and higher-end (Chrysler+Hudson&successors), ended up shedding the latter two until it:
    a) went bust,
b)got acquired by Charmand (inspired by the AMC-Renault partnership),
c)got acquired by Autobello (inspired by FCA; both latter cases would make it kinda like modern Dodge.)
(Not made the final decision yet)

    • And a big British carmaker - a corporate behemoth inspired by GM and BMC/British Leyland/successors, now held alive by bailouts and foreign shareholders:

    - Budget brand - Morris/modern Geely Chinese stuff (cars)/Leyland (light trucks) meets Chevrolet. The group's founding company, created it in the post-WWII hardships. Still exists, British working class patriotism brought to you by the Chinese.

    - Sporty brand - Triumph/Pontiac/Corvette. Now discontinued, but remembered for affordable performance.

    - Midrange brand - Austin/Wolseley meets Oldsmobile. It didn't really have a defined market, which is why it is no longer a thing.

    - Premium brand - Rover mixed with Buick and fancier Geely brands (new cars). Known for injecting some technically advanced performance into otherwise-stately designs, kept alive by Chinese yuppies.

    - Luxury brand - Jaguar/Daimler and Cadillac. Started out as luxury with a hint of sportiness, now firmly moving in the latter direction. Has quite a tarnished reputation.

    - Heavy-duty brand - Land Rover, GMC and Jeep mix. Began its life making simple trucks and offroaders for the British Army, now mainly produces pickups, SUVs and crossovers for soccer moms.

Just wanted to get these concepts out of my mind. Feel free to suggest names and improvements.

I like that! It could be a bit heavier though, maybe with a 6 cylinder? Since we already have a lot of light classics, (Miramar & Piccolina.)

7th Gen Ford Country Squire (Burnside Blockade? Eh, I suck at naming things.)

Just a standard boxy wagon from 80-85. Would have something like the 4.8 and the 5.8 L V8 they had in the Country Squire

Maybe it can be called "Wilks Motor Company" or "WMC" for short, in the style of GMC's name?

Picture this for BeamNG v0.17.0: The Tipo 100L, an Italian Kubelwagen-ish military vehicle based on a lengthened and somewhat modified Autobello chassis; the Gavril M904, a WWII-era American military truck and grandfather of the D-Series; and an Egypt map. Let the Indiana Jones reenactments begin.

I'd really love to see a modern (post 2012) American market FWD sedan, similar to the Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry/Avalon, Honda Accord and Nissan Altima. We only have a few FWD cars, and the ones we do have are all small or slow and old. A new, modern sporty sedan would add a unique experience to the game not possible with any other current car.
