I'unno, it doesn't matter where it came from, you're not going to find a completely reliable brand. The Japanese knew this and they still gave us a certain-generation Camry that suffered from sludge. Decided to do the periodical oil change on my ES300 and what do I find? Sludge buildup. My friend's old E30 was a bit quirky at times until he found a certain web site that sold parts for absurdly cheap. And then there's the issue of my K1500. I can't go into 4WD and the headlights are an issue. There's a leak somewhere in the A/C and it's terribly slow. (imported from here) You'd have to be nearly insane to say a Mitsubishi is reliable. Sure, they're cheap, but this used to be a brand owned under the Daimler-Chrysler bond from the 70s to early 2005. Bad decisions and faulty Monteros put the DSM brand in their place. And they're not even financially stable to run an auto firm. Renaults and Peugeots are French, though. Granted, the PSA tact was a bit gutsy - one of their Prince engines found their way in the Mini Hatch and that seemed to be alright. And I have yet to see a Fiat 500 break down here. If anything, they're a cheaper alternative to the German-French-British Mini.
well even then, obviously it turns fine, otherwise they probably would have made the vehicle RWD, or AWD keeping the power even
Asian any day of the week, any week of the month, any month of the year and any year of my lifetime I like a few non asian cars though. escort cosworth, volvo 850, dodge challenger
Just felt the need to post in this thread about my newfound favorite car ever in the history of the world. 2005 Ford excursion That picture is just soooo....mmmmm. I need one. Buuuuut theres a catch. Prepare for a lesson on ford excursion. It shares the same frame/drivetrain/suspension/swag as the F-250 super duty. It's basically just an enclosed version of said truck. The first model year was 2000, and it had 3...I think engine options: 5.4 liter triton v8, 6.8 liter triton v10, and a 7.3 liter powerstroke v8. BUT, starting the 04 model year, ford decided to replace the 7.3 diesel with the "problematic" 6 liter powerstroke v8. In 05, the last year for excursion, it received the face lifted design along with the rest of the super duty line up. I like the 05 look the best, but if I was to acquire an excursion, it wouldn't have no gasoline engine, but the only diesel the 05 had was the "problematic" 6 liter powerstroke. *begins to sweat* So basically I have a delima about which excursion to fantasize owning. This is like the suburban, BUT BETTER: 1. It's heavier duty (there were 2500 suburbans but they didn't sell well and are rather uncommon and diesel 2500s were even more rare) 2. It ain't no chevy crap. So yeah this is the thread I decided to post this in.
They want more cash, so they wont let full engine power in standart models running. Each feature has to be paid here in Germany. Usa got some good model lines without paying too much for features or engines... Btw our 4 cylinder are way more powerful, but too much lame and setted fully economical. ah the excursion, i actually plan to get one myself, unfortunately, they don't show up on craigslist all that often (in fact, i just went and searched, 2 showed up)
Yeah they are kinda uncommon. There are like 5 on craigslist, but they aren't really close. And they're pretty expensive. Most of them go for >9,000 bucks. Kinda expensive. Probably couldn't get one until I'm established in life. *sigh*
yeah, as for your dilemma, you could always mod the new grille onto an older one with the 7.3 powerstroke v8, or you could buy the newer one, and buy a 7.3 powerstroke v8 and replace the 6l powerstroke v8 with that, but that's really all i could think of that you could do
Why not make a fictional Soviet car manufacturer that makes luxobarges for Politburo officials? Maybe they could make cars like the ZiL 114 and GAZ Chaika with lots of bits that fall off and 190ish HP 7.0L V8s?
Voted European, Asian would be next. You can't beat powerful, reliable, prestigious, understated powerhouses.
Australian, I know its not on the list but they are like a mixture of the three: They are muscle cars (America) They are classy (Europe) They are the best drift cars (Asia)
Don't forget about gas prices, how much do you pay per gallon? For example, here is Spain we pay 1.4€/liter on average (1.93 $/liter) or 5.3€/gallon (7.3 $/gallon)
Not just gas, why does america have such cheaper <insert just about any object here> than the rest of the world?
