Are you allowed to base your skin off of an official skin? (e.g a miramar skin labeled "13" instead of "6")
Three quick questions: 1. I noticed this "mod_info" folder in a mod I downloaded and unpacked to modify: Do I have to manually create this folder before uploading a mod; placing mod icon and creating an info.json file, or is this something generated by the staff or auto-generated? 2. If a thread for my mod already exists on the Beamng forums, do I place the link to it within the "description" box, the "Additional Information URL" box, the "Alternative Support URL", or some combination of the three? 3. Does the single Mod Icon uploaded to the mods page cover both the mods page and the in-game repository, or do I have to provide a separate icon for each?
If you don't have the discussion tab yes, else leave it empty Upload the icon before you upload your mod update. The icon will be integrate in the mod once you upload an update and the server repack it. You don't need to include the icon inside the mod.
I'm not certain that I understand. What I was asking is, should I put the link to my mod thread (I created one just this morning) in: This Box: This Box: This Box: Or some combination of the three? Come to think of it, I do have one last question. 4. Will I be able to edit the mod's tags later? Since we don't currently have a "T-series" or "Semi" tag, I'd very much like to add one as soon as it becomes available.
