Yeah, I thought about those, too. Here is the proof that those are meant to be parking lights, the material is called parkinglight in the mesh.
Who cares if it is scarcasim it would be a nice feature but it would be a pain in the ass to code and include probably. A/C eats horsepower Anyway
Looks like the LeGran is [partially] complete! I can't tell if the engine's a V6 or an I4. I'll leave it up to you to decide.
It's heavy WIP and that's basically the way everything is laid out in Blender from what I've seen for parts selector purposes, same story with the wheels, those are not final, just placeholders.
Considering he said that 4x4 is more or less based off of a Jeep Wrangler, and seeing as this is a tranverse setup I doubt that this would be that..
It says "B" on the oil filler cap, plus how many proper 4x4's are AWD? and apparently he mentioned something about it being based off of a Jeep Wrangler.
What I just saw in the pictures is definitely a front wheel drive set up, and I even notice a more squared off "B" logo on one of the valve covers which could suggest Bruckell in the 80's... It almost looks like an "eight" from this angle too. Also looking at the two intakes in the picture, it may suggest that this engine will have both a fuel injected and carburated version. An even lower powered 4 cylinder model could be possible too since I've actually driven a Buick Century 2.2L and that engine was under powered for it's body size and in a model year as late as 1995. I don't think this is the Ibishu 4x4 considering just looking at the ground clearance by itself... Even the license plate placement is pretty low so this must be the Legran with just it's engine mesh, exhaust pipe and wheels with Ibishu blades hubcaps while the rest of the car is somewhere else out of our sight. Who knows... All we do know is it's gonna be another step closer to being released for everyone to smash it either by accident from taking a corner too fast or on purpose by throwing it off a cliff.
Really? Ugh. Allow me to give a quick lesson and an article on the topic. So, 4WD (4x4) vehicles have power going to all 4 wheels all of the time. They also have a dedicated transfer shaft that splits power between the front and rear wheels. AWD vehicles have power going to the primary drive wheels, with power being sent to the other pair when the computer determines that it is needed. 4WD vs AWD - Motor Trend
with 4WD, there is a transfer case that can be switched from 4 low to 4 high and 2 low to 2 high. tis not 4WD all the time, only when the driver wants it to be. and AWD is almost all the time
One thing I know with AWD vehicles is that you have to buy 4 brand new tires or the AWD system will wear itself out. SOURCE: http://www.tirereview.com/back-to-basics-3-rotating-vehicle-tires/
FFS. Some 4WD cars have that. Some don't. All 4WD vehicles have a transfer case. For example, my mother's Lexus GX470 (lux Toyota Land Cruiser) has full time 4WD, a locking center diff, and high/low in the transfer case. It is not AWD, because it has a transfer case.
You realise that the post you quoted isn't even correct, right? And a 4x4 is a 4WD vehicle. I don't care what you meant by it, you were entirely wrong with your original post. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/4x4
