Like the Quadra-Lift on Jeeps or the Air suspension on the LR3's. That would fit perfectly on the ETK 800... especially with the All Terrain mod
Don’t we all. It’s probably in my top 3 maps usage-wise, but I never loved all the detours and orange barriers blocking off exits of the map.
Just checked, and they just took EVERY free episode on YouTube down and I know it was recent because I just watched that episode. WTF? EP 74 was the first one that wasn't free on YT but the first 73 were up just a few days ago. It wont. Although maybe Beam will do a MR2/Fiero Mashup in the future the Wendover will still be a fullsize FWD. It would be nice if they went in a 1988+ Grand Prix direction so they could still have their US coupe but have many more engine/transmission options as well as a sedan body as well which would act as a direct replacement for the Legran (a similar dynamic as the old pessima/new pessima). I worry that the Wendover will pretty much be a single configuration since it's going in a Riviera/Toronado/Eldorado direction The W bodies had a high-revving 4 and several V6 options including a turbo.
its a jack off all traits but a master of none, if they split it or make it less cramped, i think i would enjoy it more
--- Post updated --- The hydros are just a variation the code used for the t-series rear wheels and wentwards bus passenger lowering thing. --- Post updated --- I would say just enlargen it to 3x3 and boom, problem solved
I‘m wondering what has happened to the articulated bus. Also, what will they do with that template map?
A few thoughts on the map upgrades: Industrial Site - Not much can be added to this map to preserve backwards compatibility. The only shown changes seemed to be new textures, however the last image of this map's upgrades was in November, so a lot may have changed. For all we know it may no longer be set in Texas, or the United States at all. Port - Although little can be done to the port itself to preserve backwards compatibility, there is a massive amount of unused land on the map. Literally anything could be added there, so long as it connects to the port. The only shown changes seemed to be new textures, however the last image of this map's upgrades was in November, so a lot may have changed. For all we know it may no longer be set in Texas, or the United States at all. Small Island USA - A mostly empty map, could see new trails/locations. Although it's name requires it to be set in the United States, it may or may not remain in Texas. Derby Arenas - I doubt much will change here, due to both backwards compatibility, and the fact that this map is solely designed for demolition derbies rather than free roam. The only shown changes seemed to be new textures, however the last image of this map's upgrades was in November, so a lot may have changed. For all we know it may no longer be set in Texas, or the United States at all. East Coast USA - ECA will be receiving major changes. The sawmill will be different, there is a coastal village of some sort, and there are now many new trails on the map. Without a doubt there will be a number of new buildings and such scattered throughout the countryside. One thing to note is Firwood. Although it must maintain the same road layout, it could actually live up to it's title and become an actual city, potentially becoming a counterpart to WCA's Belasco City, or remain a large town. Hirochi Raceway - Besides a major overhaul bringing more detail than the WCA racetrack, there are new offroad areas. I suspect there may be trails or roads outside the track similar to the Automation Test Track map. The racetrack and all it's sections (including the abandoned ones) will probably be preserved, but the massive amount of unused land may be filled with new locations. Jungle Rock Island - No official confirmation on upgrades, but JRI is the last map that obviously needs major upgrades. It still mostly uses the old industrial assets that many of the older maps use. Without a doubt, JRI should leave Hawaii. This could be a perfect opportunity to introduce a new Asian country to the game, and as @Flippi 284 could rant for hours on end about it, JRI is clearly not set in Hawaii. JRI features lots of room for new areas and improvements, which may be done alongside a possible setting change.
JRI has the best pass-racing roads and offroad trails in the game, and if any of them change I will riot, unless they do what they did with DRI and just replace it completely.
No roads will be removed to maintain backwards compatibility, this will be true with all map upgrades. --- Post updated ---
Okay so about the Bluebuck lowrider, hopefully there will be like some extended height ones so that offroading would be possible. Having a seemingly average car just pop up and go over the rock trail on Gridmap would be sweet!
i wonder if the front and rear suspension will be controllable or if it will each individual wheel like the old bruckell moonhawko mod.
I hope all of it is individual cause like how am I gonna get all those sick tricks off if I'm not able to control everything
I wonder when we will see or hear anything about the new UI. I's been almost a year since the rework was reviled , with it having been in the works for almost a year at that point. I'd really like to see something come out with this update, or at least another blogpost with their progress. The new UI excites me almost as much as the map upgrades.
