I also recall the devs saying they decided to abandon vulkan for now after some internal tests, so it's safe to say we're sticking with dx11 for the time being.
https://www.beamng.com/threads/development-media.24313/page-3#post-1013630 I don't really see what the new video show except the not really new engine sound (but the reverse speed sound looks new)
Better jbeams perhaps? Like it still drives even when the trunk and rear end is flat against the body.. like something that a derby modification would have...
I'm not sure why he is ramming the building, the pessima seems to deform the same as before more or less. But the new sounds are nice. Certainly an improvement over the old i4 sounds. Hopefully we get more unique sounds in the update.
If you notice towards the end after the final smash the engine sound is more raspy and unfiltered, suggesting the muffler has been compromised
It seems similar to a sound mod I've heard before. I didn't notice the exhaust changing, I was listening to it in a noisy room. Either way, a sound overhaul would be really nice, especially if we get more high quality sounds. --- Post updated --- It seems similar to a sound mod I've heard before. All I want is for beamng to make a montage of chevy chevette commercials and put it on their YouTube channel.
Hmm, what if talented video makers would make such and offered it to devs who then would add it to their Steam page? It could be kinda community activating competition which winner gets his/hers video to their Steam page. That could be kinda positive event with some future update?
