I'm missing cam timing adjustments in Automation, SLRR had that, in general I find Automotion to make bit too high revving motors, it is bit challenging to create something like Toyota 1A-U for example:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_A_engine#1A-U
    upload_2018-6-18_3-28-34.png

Can't remember if many games have had possibility to adjust cam lobe profiles so that you could have higher overlap, in reality that overlap would have then effect to exhaust note.

Sadly I have had no time to look into new features in 0.12.3, but my understanding is that game now supports a lot more engine performance modifications, I will look into that though, sport cams etc. would add much of wanted engine tunability (tuna? tune? :D ).

It is amazing how 30-40 degrees and 3mm will transform lame family car engine to roaring sports motor :p

However I doubt that devs will add such detailed part sets to BeamNG as managing all that trough all the vehicles would become hard.

If you think about it, with price of BeamNG there is quite a bit and even greater are possibilities to adjust more. Some specialized software that does very little compared to what BeamNG does, can costs hundreds in corporate world, it really amazes me how much they can squeeze in for the price.

We eventually have plans for a comprehensive overhaul of the engine designer with more of a grounding in physics. That's going to have to wait a while though -

Also what are your plans for Diesel engines?
They play a large role IRL as well as in BeamNG.
Idk how your game engine works regarding fuels, but an ability to create interesting diesel engines would be the most appealing to me, as finding some torque curves for stuff like V10 Diesel engines other than the VW TDI is near impossible, and even id you manage that, yout have to guess a lot of stuff to scale the torque curve to the displacement you want, Introduction of Diesel engines for your game would in my opinion be enmven more usefull than gas engines, as there is a ton of torque curve for different configurations of gas engines online.

Just a small bug fix for Beam not wanting to launch on latest, windows insider builds.

That's a huuuuuge expensive and complex project for us. It's in the "Maybe a long time in the future if we make a lot of sales" sort of thing for us. So don't count on Diesels coming anytime soon.

This is from the rear fender flare of a Gavril D-Series in one of @Nadeox1 's pics. Note the red object. The interesting thing is, there is nothing red at that intersection. It appears to be a large, red vehicle.

    I'm probably overthinking this, aren't I?

I swear it looks like the rear of a modern rear-mount aerial ladder truck...

inb4 Nadeox says it's something completely obvious.

The background is a Fire Station... o_O

Judging by the pic, I really can't tell what kind of apparatus it is.

Here's another part of the reflection. I honestly can't tell what it is, but my money is on a firetruck considering the background of the photo.

But the first screenshot appears to be completely unrelated to the barriers though... o_O

My guess is that this supposed fire truck is parked on the curb at an angle that we can't see it.
    --- Post updated ---
If it's a fire truck, it's likely older, as it's missing the legally mandated rear red/yellow striping.

I agree. I'm hesitant about making any assumptions at this point though. The reflections are very pixelated and difficult to examine, but in the first photo there does seem to be a difference in the pattern compared to the barriers. Who knows...
