We definitely need them, as the majority of Europe has those kind of plates on about every vehicle on the road.

EU plates can be made in game right now with the functionality of the normal plates, although the texture and the text itself can get distorted.

The problem is that the size is more like the North American plates (example below):

Generally, EU plates are sized like this:

But this other kind of EU plates look a bit too small to be done for the US-sized plates:

I hope somebody does make proper EU plates, as I will use them for a future mod...

You can reshape the plate by altering its dimensions in the jbeam file.

That'll definitely be helpful once I do get to the custom plates for my future mod.
    OT:
Is a beater planned for this upcoming vehicle?

That would be nice, but I don't know if that would happen. As far as I know, the Covet is the only car with an official beater variant.

It's possible, since old cars like the one coming later on often deteriorate (without any maintenance) to something like this:

    True.

And here's something, I once heard that cars similar the Miramar were particularly subjectible to rust, yet there's no official Miramar beater. Don't know if that rust thing is true or not. I think I read that on the wiki some time ago, and when I went back to validate it, I don't see it anymore.

Atleast somebody could mod the new vehicle as a beater anyways.
(Also, if anyone wants to continue the Euro-200BX discussion, go to the thread I made just a few hours ago.)

It can be tricky to see at first, but the logo in the picture spells "A B". The closest real life counterpart i can think of for this is Bugatti, with their "E B" logo, but that does not make a lot of sense for this new vehicle.

It was most aerodynamic car of it's time I believe, what I'm thinking is that maybe this new car AB can be modded to that with relative ease? Overall shape might be somewhere there, who knows, maybe AB has got some influence from old Tatra in addition of Bug and Fiat vibes that it probably has?

Either way, Tatra still makes air cooled V8 big truck engines as well as trucks and from there we might end up into some weird and worryingly interesting area :D

That'd be the only V8 with 4 ignition wires.

I'm not claiming that AB would have V8, I'm claiming it might be relatively easy to make it so.

It's got a short engine bay, would be quite hard to put 8 cylinders there.
