So with the introduction of the modern LED light bar on the Grand Marshall would it be right to assume that we may get a similar emergency light system similar to the Police cars in Need for speed Most wanted 2005 and gta 5? What I'm mostly looking at is the headlights and the taillights plus the rear led flashers on both versions of the light bars but as a 2nd option. On top of that it could be possible to see a undercover taxi police vehicle but that's just wishful thinking.
Why did I not know about this? That is amazing. I looked it up, the NYPD has at least 5 of them --- Post updated --- So happy about the name of the hotfix. Kinda ironic they chose that banner considering the PD taxi in the above video. I wonder if that is the permanent skin for the Belasco PD GM, it reminds me of some of the early PD skins in game.
Ok, I have a Barstow as the Mustang but I still need a fitting car as the Charger...... The Bluebuck looks way too fat for that...
Yep... and apart from that I want an official car/mod that's not a carbon copy of the real car but looks like it. You know what I mean? Like the Barstow, it looks sorta like a Mustang but is completely original in design.
Yeah, that's what I love about the cars of BeamNG.drive, that you can see which cars they are inspired from, but have an individual feeling. Even though I really enjoy mods like the oldfullsize, I mostly prefer (not in the case of the oldfullsize) completely custom cars.
I think it may be possible that this blank, hilly area may be turned into the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco. Here's the area. Here's Lombard Street.
No point to make one right next to another street; And I remember there is a street bare resemblance to Lombard Street with only 2 turns not far away
So just delete that road and extend green area? Why so many people think if there is something on the map this is impossible to remove or change it?
Although it was a tempting feature idea, I decided not to make a "Lombard Street" replica in this map fairly early in the design process. It's too iconic to San Francisco, which is not the sole inspiration for this map, and it also wouldn't be as fun to drive on as you probably imagine. For example the signed recommended speed is 5mph.
IRL people driving here even 25 mph (if nobody blocking the road). Also don't forget the real reason why we'd like to see that road in game.
I know how Lombard Street looks. In Driver this is HUGE road far from original, but also fun to drive (I can driving up and down all day long). Driver:SF is placed in real city but still they decide change designs for better gameplay. Game is still a game.
What do you think, is there a possibility of a small update for christmass? Maybe some new props or even a vehicle? Bluebuck or some sort of mi ivan as christmass and minivans are the 2 things which just screem family?
If there would be some kind of "ramp" on top of the Lombard Street, then it would be hell of a fun.. I always wanted to fly over those narrow corners (inevitably destroying my car in the process)
