Well, that's not much different than the water mod that's now quite popular, to be fair

It's such an interesting addition, I am very curious to see where it leads to. Even just the fuel thing is already very cool

 

you were talking about the mods, i tought you were talking about the tdev leak. The mod looks like just displacement based on nodes, and it doesnt affect the physics at all (it looks great tho).
About the fuel leak that tdev posted, i hope its not another vibe coded feature like the constellations thing.

there was a discussion in the Modding for dummies server about lua code that looked like vibecode, and someone mentioned that it was admitted. I also lean more towards that side, since a) tdev loves ai and b) it has the unneccessary feature of showing the names and shapes of the constellations which only 0.001% of people would actually use, and ai likes to add useless features like that

also the Workbench (program that tdev teased) had the UI definetly vibecoded
