im split on the PS5 thing, its great that they get more funding with it and that the community grows. but im worried about their independence as a studio knowing the state SONY is in right now i would be surprised that they would want to buy the studio outright and im happy that the community grow but on the other-hand we need to (and i know its controversial to say) basically do some Gate-keeping with the "new arrivals"

Plenty of small game studios publish independently on the play station store front and never get bought out by Sony. I think you're jumping the gun a little bit with the whole acquisition thing. Beamng is still a small studio with a mid-size game, and there's nothing indicating that they've been approached for some buyout or would even be open with the proposition.
