Update Speculation thread

Oooh! Thats beyond exciting for me! I’ve been wanting a proper crusher for a while. If we’re also getting the euro truck, then I wonder if this will be a truck/heavy equipment themed update. That makes it a bit more likely that we may get European trailers for the EU semi in my eyes too. It is way too clean though

What I find fascinating about this teaser is that many of the crushed vehicles are those which haven't gotten a refresh or a remaster (at least, not in a while). We've got a Barstow and Moonhawk on top, a Grand Marshal upside down below the 'Hawk, and a D-Series at the bottom. We then have an H-Series bridging the gap between the piles, a Bluebuck below the Barstow, an I-Series underneath the Bluebuck, and a LeGran at the bottom.

Does this mean that any of them will be getting a remaster or refresh next update? Most likely not, but with the Wentward finally getting a refresh/remaster, I could see the Barstow, Moonhawk, or I-Series getting their remaster/refresh soon. But then again, we've thought that the Moonhawk would get a remaster for how many years? And it still hasn't happened, for some reason.

We're very likely also getting a Wentward remaster/refresh with this update, so yes, it will be a truck/heavy-equipment update. The devs have also added several trailers in the past few years (especially between 0.30-0.33), so, I don't see why they wouldn't add Euro trailers for the EU semi.

I could totally see the idea with the remaster. Excellent use of imagery by the devs if that’s true. Out with the old, in with the new almost. also very much true with the trailers. I remember the new trailers we got when the T series was remastered

 

New parts like a bike rack were found in it's files, along with added interior lights, so it'll most likely get a light refresh..like the pessima and sbr got when they added bodykits to those
