Update Speculation thread

Fps went from 25fps normal settings in 1080 to 8fps on lowest settings in 720p
literally unplayable, any ideas how to fix?
Pc specs: Beamng minimum
Both with only one car loaded

i have a strong feeling your way below minimum. I get about 30fps on normal graphics with 4 traffic cars, and I am well below minimum.

 

It looks like its tied to the acceleration (X g-force)

 

Mine | Minimum

CPU: Intel Core i3-4340 | Intel Core i3-6300
Very similar

16GB ddr4 ram (minimum)

Nvidia Quadro 4400 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Mine is 14x worse than minimum. Also, it's from 2005.

also it has ~763× worse price for performance

I might need an upgrade soon :l

 

I gotta disable the new clouds it kills me I'm right at the falling-off point of performance lol.

 

with such an old GPU, try running the game on your CPU's integrated graphics instead, there's a chance it might be better.

 

Im getting awful performance too, ~15 fps small island w/ traffic and in rally mode while meeting requirements. Im wondering if my pc/cpu is just too old. Idk if reinstalling windows could even do anything and if upgrading would fix anything

I have an Nvidia 1050, 16 gb of ram, although my monitor/display is quite old

 

How the fuck are you getting bad fps, I use a gtx 720 and a 3rd gen i5 and get 40 fps on small island at a little below normal graphics (no clouds)

 

Could be high storage or something I'm not entirely sure

 

That is not fun solution. Also i found a programm called Lossless Scaling (this thing can do fsr/dlss and other things in every game). I boosted my fps from 35 to 74, but it still sad that optimization in game that bad
