Update Speculation thread

Teaser on a friday? Wow. New update and working sun visors is awesome. Hope they add it to all cars.

 

The sunvisors are in the new cherrier I think…

On a second note, the photomode looks great. You can even adjust meteors!

 

When the Aurata interior was teased, update 0.30 released the next day. Maybe it will happen again?

 

yet they don't release updates on the weekend

 

I feel like the Ardente has been done for a while now, I think it's mainly just the graphics stuff that's been taking longer

 

There's always a chance it could happen...

 

I hope the Environment tab gets this upgrade aswell, since now its quite outdated.

If it will happen, i have a feeling beamng is gonna reach a new peak playercount, since this update is massive

I think that this update will be the last major UI update, or at least I hope so. Also, with the improvements to the walking cameras I hope that there will be an option to hide the ui automaticly

 

Also i think they should move from click and drag to just first person camera movement, since its a bit unnatural

The fact that they've gone back to "official" teasers makes me think that it's reasonably close to being released. I feel like they wouldn't do this kind of teaser if the update was still a ways away (like months away).

 

Noticed that the overcast preset could look more... overcast. We know the new cloud system can support basically full cloud cover from that shot of the Stambecco on Utah:

So there's gonna be natural disasters and dynamic weather in 0.39 (maybe not but that'd be cool!)?
