    That is true - to be fair, it could be a VR6 (I hope it is - that would be a funky engine layout and a great selling point for the new car). And multiple times in the past, the devs have been willing to design new engines for more specialized vehicles (see: Scintilla, HT-55, Nine, Wydra, Stambecco, Aurata). However, all of those vehicles were on bespoke platforms, so it makes sense that they have bespoke engines. In the Wendover's case, that used an engine that was just a larger version of the Bruckell V6 - and a V8 was always planned for the K-Series. (There were even badges for a V10 and V12 in the game files.) The Cherrier coupe doesn't have any of those factors, so that's why I'm a bit on the fence that it's got a V engine.

    Maybe I'm still bitter about the devs never adding a 900cc engine to the Piccolina for "gameplay reasons". Hopefully, that gets changed with a refresh, but I'm not expecting anything at this point.

    I don't think it'd be a Bruckell V6 - that'd probably be too large, but there was a mod a few years ago that added V6s and V8s to the FCV. (I don't know if there were any new models - none of the images I can find show an engine inside the FCV engine bay.) Honestly, I think the twin exhausts could be for the inline-five - it's probably not that likely, but I could see it happening.

    ShakeandBake mentioned here that he thought the new Cherrier coupe could have a V6 due to the dual exhausts on the back of the race car. I replied saying that I didn't think it would be a V6 (or any V engine), and the conversation carried on from there.

    @DriftinCovet1987 Agreed, bro. Agreed.

    Another little piece of speculation: It'll have sequential turn signals, at least in the rear. I think the rear signal lights are segmented like that for a reason

    Supersampling. Teased by tdev.

    It is safe to say BeamNG is not going anywhere. It truly is a one of a kind.

    I think its safe to say, dispite the devs saying later this year ( i think that is for the ps5 port ) I have a feeling with how much they tease us. as well as how hyped we are, and no devs ( yet ) said time to settle down

    makes me think its soon,

    Source, i spoke to Tdev. Proof, Proof, trust me bro.

    BUT legit, what i said, I think that its soon for real :) do not hold me to it but yeah :)

    BUT i hope the hopper does get some love, kinda under rated :)

    Transparency with the community, explain the reason for the delay, build hype for the update and PS5 release. Don't think we have quite that long to wait, though

    Honestly, I'm convinced that BeamNG is timeless. No matter what happens in the gaming industry it will always be around. Also, my guess for why the beam team prioritized better graphics, performance, and a Playstation launch, is probably because they're trying to adjust to GTA 6's level.

    im actually curious how official sequentials would be done. mods like the Centauri feel like the indicators are slightly desynced from non-seq ones. hell, maybe it'll even make way for different indicator speed (without making the game run at horrendous fps iykwim) and burnt-out lights (since we already have lights dimming).
    speaking of lights, i speculate that they'll fix the issue thats been in the game since 0.35 and caused me to feel extreme disgust towards the Roamer

    Considering that tdev has started actively sharing screenshots, and even showed the design of the rear of the car, it makes me think that an update is coming soon. Of course these could just be screenshots, but who knows, time will tell:rolleyes:
