The devs have already confirmed that the name change was merely to prevent conflict with old T-Series mods. They did this with the Covet (from "hatch" to "covet") and the Bolide (from "super" to "bolide") --- Post updated --- I greatly failed at this challenge
Wait so you tried it? Lemme tell ya, the 2 day challenge was way harder than the 4 day challenge. I’m guessing 8 days will be easier. You can start with 2 days if ya want
considering that modders have made drivable mattress, wood crate, and haybale; I'm suprised no one has made a drivable large tire, a monowheel would be really cool.
One thing that would be near impossible to tease is the official introduction of Vulkan renderer, as there is no way to tease it without giving it away straight away.
The only way to tease it would be something like a screenshot of the main menu, and you are prompted to figure out what's different, but as soon as people found out, we would all know exactly what the update is. The problem with is is that the whole point of a teaser is to not reveal the update, but simply tease a small part of the update.

Speculation: Agent_Y made this proof of concept of a tracked vehicle a while ago https://www.beamng.com/resources/tracked-fpu-wydra.25212/ and is now part of the BeamNG team. If we assume the speculation about an heavy machinery themed update to be accurate, it would make a lot of sense to have some tracked heavy vehicles. BeamNGs impressive physics engine could probably simulate tracked vehicles better than any other competitor which would also give it yet another unique selling point, as all games I know that have both wheeled and tracked vehicles tend to suffer from poor simulation of tracks.
Stoat Muldoon, one of the vehicle artists, also made the mark 1 tank mod a while back, so that precedent's been there for a while. Tdev's old teaser post was also directly referencing an excavator, and wheeled excavators are far less common than the tracked variety, so that would likely be planned to use tracks. Straying offtopic for a bit, if they do implement tracks at some point, I'd love to see something like a WW2 M3 halftrack truck, I'm not aware of any game that's ever simulated the handling of a halftrack realistically.
