I’m literally leeloo --- Post updated --- Thanks for pointing that out! Always here to fuck things up for me @GiHat ! --- Post updated --- But hey it’s good to know I did a great job
I’m sure that would be convincing on PC, but jokes on you! I’m on mobile! It didn’t format correctly!
yeah i realized that... the coolest thing i could do is reproduce the beamng website. but that would take a long time. but i could also adapt it easily for future updates --- Post updated --- i am officially removing you from my profile page watchlist
Dude, I am sorry and glad for you's forgiveness. Starting my speculations: I have 2: 1. We will see like American Heavy update ("Wentward Truck, T-Series remaster, Some Aero Semi, Electric Semi"). 2. We saw nearly saw no teasers ("So only T-Series and Trailers") What do you think ?
for all we know they could be gaslighting us and the update could come soon with some stuff that hasn't even been teased yet
That could happen, but it's fairly unlikely - the last time I remember that happening was for 0.19 (the Tograc was never teased before it was released - only the Vivace), although the Tograc is merely some different parts on a Vivace shell. Something like a Wentward remaster would be far more extensive.
Not the first time it's happened, but only with subtle features from what I remember --- Post updated --- Considering the Vivace and Tograc situation, a heavy duty frame of facelift for the T-Series could be plausible. It might be a stretch, but if BeamNG decides to canonically make Wentward a subsidiary of Gavril, then they would probably just make a restyled rebadge of the T-Series manufactured by that company. But I think that's the most they'll do. Edit: However, it could be another situation similar to 0.24, where they add another vehicle unexpectedly a bit later. If the next update after 0.31 is "0.31.01" instead of "0.31.1", you can probably expect this scenario again. If I were to guess, it could be another truck, but it's not really predictable.
For now we only saw teasers that could mean any thing. And we saw less teasers than we see in remaster cars only update. So I don't know what next to speculate.
There are two major problems with that: 1. 0.18 and 0.24 both released quite early in the month (the 9th for 0.18 and the 2nd for 0.24), so it was perfectly reasonable to fit another content update into the month for the things that weren't quite finished yet (0.18.3, on the 19th, and 0.24.1, on the 20th) before... 2. The 21st of December, which seems to be the cut-off date for any December content updates (0.8, 2016's December update, came out on that date - so far, it's been the latest-releasing major December update). The only permanent December content update to come out after the 21st has been 0.5.1, which came out almost 8 years ago. If 0.31's releasing tomorrow (as it probably will) or even next week (which is starting to look more and more likely), there's not going to be enough time to come up with a 0.31.1 before the 21st, as all three of the December "add-on" releases (0.5.1., 0.18.3, 0.24.1) all came out at least 10 days after their respective major updates. (0.5.1 was 12 days after 0.5, 0.18.3 was 10 days after 0.18, and 0.24.1 was 18 days after 0.24.)
Yeah, that's what I'm also starting to think, as well - Thursday's cutting it pretty close to the end of the week, and if they released 0.31 on, say, the 19th, they'd still have enough time to get some of the more major bugs ironed out by the 21st. Still, every possibility it could come out today - there's plenty of time.
Your points sound reasonable, but I don't think they make the entire secondary update within the following week. In most cases, a lot of cars that are added slightly later under the same update probably couldn't make the cut for the primary update due to bugs and kinks that had to be worked out. So technically they could have another vehicle in the works and just not have told us, which will be added within 10 days of the initial release. I don't see this as likely, however..
