Update Speculation thread

AFAIK, a I-Series remaster has already been quasi-confirmed. The T-Series is in dire need of a huge remaster, though...

honestly I kind of hope we get a Hybrid power train support, which could give new possibilities for mod makers (I know Arcanox is a thing, but it's a bit janky at times)

it might be a WCUSA remaster becase we got that quarry not long ago

I am not convinced by WCUSA update. It could be, but that map is pretty solid, and the actual terrain is all used up already pretty much.

If you look at the GPS:



And try to match it to the WCUSA usable terrain:



I don't see where it fits.

Similar story for small island:



and ECUSA:



And Industrial:



Purely looking at the available coast line on the GPS and the potential locations.

Sure, they could update a section to add it in, but with WCUSA, I'm not sure there is space. I also am not sure they will want to delete some of the existing to make way.

I could be wrong of course. I just always hope for a new map...

Ok, those images looked better before I uploaded them, The white is actually transparent, so on a black background they're more clear, but the coast is still easy to make out.

 

This section could easily be the island that is across the bridge, we have no clue what that looks like.

 

I guess this was a textbook teaser, we saw new content but it's not a straight up spoiler since we can't figure out what or where it is. Congrats Leeloo, you've earned one Internet point

That island is WAY farther away from the main map, the bridge is pretty long, if you look at the GPS instead you can see the new island is very close to land

How much is the update size? for me it's 800 - something MB, but for the person above it's 1 GB. is this ok?
