i genuinenly feel as though the solaid lansdale is a vehicle. genuinely. like, my eyes just slide off it you know? and whenever i try to rmeber what it looks like, i cant remeber. truly one of those cars that are just "vehicles"
I don’t know if another rear-engined sports car to go, but something AMG GT like with a long hood and a front-mid engine layout would be awesome. It’d also be interesting if it wasn’t a German brand but a similar European brand.
Oh yeah! I watched this video earlier and was very intrigued by the introduction of a live engine sound system, even if not immediately, but I really want to hear online engine sound design in the future, the last two updates were almost entirely just content, I really look forward to 0.30 for the technological improvements!
Hmmmm... My mind also goes to the Ferrari Roma/Portofino models, so I think this car could very well be a Civetta model too. As a cheaper, more practical and more approachable model than the Scintilla, it would be very interesting to see this car with a modern small Twin-Turbo V8 (maybe the Scintilla's 5.0 V10 with 2 cylinders lopped off of it to make it a 4.0 V8), for conforming with the emissions regulations. Plus, this engine, along with the original 5.0 V10 of the Scintilla (plus the twin turbochargers, of course), could also form the basis for a Civetta Supercar SUV.
That's actually a great idea. We're missing out on the niche of small and lightweight sports cars and track tools (X-Bow, A110, 4C, Elise, Caterham, Donkervoort, Tommy Kaira, TVR, Austin Healey, Morgan et al) and the small engines of Ibishu (1.5, 1.6, 1.9 and 2.0 DOHC I4s), the small turbocharged gasoline engines of Cherrier (1.2 I3, 1.6 I4, 2.0 I4 and 2.5 I5), ETK (2.0 I4 and 3.0 I6) and the 2.0/2.5 F4s of Hirochi are the perfect candidates. Not to mention the classic British sports car genre, for which the Gavril 291ci V8 and the Bruckell 309ci V8 seem the perfect fit!
This is a concept that I've thought about before, a small Cherrier sports car like that could be great and maybe open Cherrier up to more history in competitive rally. Plus crazy people can swap the I5 in there for a near uncontrollable monster if they want lol.
0.30 is when the devs will go against the government which still keeps putting dihydrogen monoxide in everyday products, despite of it's dangerous side effects
Dihydrogen monoxide has killed 100% of people who have consumed it, and the government wants that stuff to come out of our taps. Disgusting.
More like a third of it gets into 0.30 and then the rest of the stuff we get will probably be things we don't know about currently and the rest will simply come in later updates. Thats my idea, anyway. Unrelated, but just thinking: If they figure out dynamic engine sounds they still need to consider things like filtering it through different exhaust setups and getting the sound to react to the environment (like tunnel echos and such) but I imagine that can just work off of the back of systems that already exist in BeamNG. Still, it would need to sound less flat like it does in Engine Sim so that it can actually be considered an effective implementation
Just a small rant on how the devs should add an Italian rival to the ETK 800 but i deleted as it wasn't speculation
So you can peacefully play beamng and not risk letting your pizza burn in the oven while you’re playing
That would be very interesting, especially since, of all current small Sport Sedans, two of them share the same automatic transmission (the ZF 8HP)! --- Post updated --- Yay, I've had quite a high pizza death toll recently!
